It was perfect at first, but after time it started to come off. I tried to use a blow dyer to make the glue stick again. no use... I would still get it because of it's convenience, it lasted for a few months before it started to peel. Nothing else worked half as well. My son use to chew the rail until the stain would peel so it's better than nothing....

The Gummi rail covers sounded like a great solution to my problem. It was very easy to put on & easy for my 18 month old to chew off! With in one day he got every rail cover chewed off. The product did remove some of the finish off the crib.

This RUINED the top of my $1800 crib! It took off chunks of paint and my daughter was able to peel it off. Terrible product!

This crib rail destroyed my $2500 crib. I followed the care on how to remove the cover and all it did was ruin and peel the paint on my crib!!!

We just got this last week and installed it a couple days ago, and so far so good! My daughter loves to bite the crib when she wakes up, and so far the guard has been great in protecting the wood. It was easy to install, easier with 2 people, but still easy to do. No issues so far of it pealing off!

This gummi rail has worked great! If you follow the directions, as in wipe the surface with rubbing alcohol FIRST, THEN apply the rail, and THEN let it sit for 8-10 hours BEFORE your baby has a chance to pull or pick at it. When you follow these instructions, it works perfectly. And you are supposed to remove it with hair dryer heat. My daughter likes to chew on this and gave up picking at it when it didn't budge. This is a great product and inexpensive in comparison to others like it!

Bought one of these for my 8 month old crib because he was starting to stand, and i wanted to take good care of his crib. He was able to pull it off quite quickly. but a little super glue makes it stay put. he chews on it all the time to, doesnt move, and he does have paint in his mouth. Also, this is ALOT better than the fabric ones, which he untied immediatly!

I USED THIS FOR MY FIRST 2 CHILDREN AND NOW I AM BUYING MORE FOR MY THIRD. GREAT PRODUCT.

Some reviewers thought this was hard to install, but I found it very easy. I did it with my 1yo at my feet without another adult to help. The middle section has lines where it beds so it was easy for me to keep that lined up the edge of my crib rail side. My boys have already marred the finish on this crib so I am not worried about the finish so much as their heath. I would rather they gnaw on this Gummi Rail than paint. Hopefully the Gummi Rail stays stuck... I'll re-review in a few months to report. I used the gummi rail on a Legacy crib with mahogany stain. My only con is the color... I wish it was more clear than the frosty color, but I only thought about that when I had to include a con to place this review...

This product is very poor. Our 8 month old is able to pull off the rails and still chew on the crib rails, pulling it's paint off. The adhesive is not strong and the insert says to use a hair dryer to re-apply it. We tried and it doesn't work! We are going to try the tie-on protector's next.

This is a great product. I used it on the front of the crib and wish i used it all over. The sides are showing teeth marks, so i am ordering some more.

The gummi rail is perfect for my teething little boy. He loves to chew on his crib rails, and this solved the problem. It is clear enough that it doesn't look bad on our espresso furniture. As other reviews have noted, it takes two people to apply the rail with ease. My husband and I applied it in about 5 minutes.
