Comments about The Safe Sporter - 12oz - Fuschia:

I was really excited to get this for my daughter to help her want to drink more water. She wanted a water bottle like her big brother had. When this came we got it out of the box, washed it, and filled it up with water. As soon as she pulled the cap to get the water out it immediately retracted and closed again. The plastic nipple part will not stay open like on any other water bottle. It is super hard for the kids to drink out i=of this water bottle without the nipple closing back on itself. My husband and I both tried to drink out of it and it was nearly impossible to do. Do yourself a favor and just buy a plain old water bottle that is probably cheaper and will definitely work.

Comments about The Safe Sporter - 12oz - Fuschia:

I've had 2 of these for about 5 months now and have had no problems other than having to really tighten the top to have it seal well- because it is plastic twisting onto steel it's harder to turn it. The top is holding up well so far, it's a nice big size in the 12 oz, the insulated band is everything to my 2 year old holding a cold drink. She absolutely loves it - you can get more out of it in a slurp than the safe sippy. The safe sippy by kid basix is much harder to clean but it's obviously better for a younger child.

Comments about The Safe Sporter - 12oz - Fuschia:

These bottles are great! I have had them for well over a year and they are still perfect. Let me mention however, these bottles are NOT designed for toddlers. They are designed for kids (older kids like 4/5 on up). These are not sippy cups. Kid Basix makes a line of sippy cups and straw bottles for toddlers called the Safe Sippy, so if you have young children those are the ones you want. But for ages 4 on up my children have had absolutely no problems. They wash well, don't leak, and have been extremely durable and even dropped. They are great for us parents too. Kid Basix stands behind their products tho, they sent me free o-rings to replace my older ones in the sippy cups I had previously that will get old and yucky after a long period of time just like any sippy cup valve. [...] A friendly reminder before buying just make sure you are buying the correct product for the correct age and you should be fairly happy with your purchase as we have been. Best of luck!

I had purchased 3 of them because they appeared to be a product that would last for a long time. However, within 4 months they've all started to leak. There's a plastic ring that came loose and now the bottles useless because it leaks.

I was expecting this item to last at least a year! Within 6 months, it's useless. First the dust cap broke off - now it leaks from an unidentifiable source. Am in the market for another "green" sport bottle that is kid friendly!

Comments about The Safe Sporter - 12oz - Fuschia:

Unsafe for toddlers. My 2-year-old gnawed off a chunk of the black sport top/spout after just two uses. She probably also ingested that plastic. If a 2 year old could pull off a chunk, then I think this poses a pretty serious hazard. This product looks cute but has alarmingly low quality.
