My 15 month old just loves this water bottle. We recently stopped using bottles, and he loves this when we are riding in the car, stroller,etc. We use the safe sippy 2 as well, LOVE there products. Zoli bot staw cup is another amazing line of cups, along with this of course ;)

My daughter has been using the pink one for almost a year and we haven't had any problems (except for having to wash it every night because she wont let me pack her lunch with any other water bottle!). Recently she decided pink is no longer her favorite color and begged for a new sporter in her new favorite color - blue.

The comments below inspired me to give our spout a sniff and I can say (with relief) that it doesn't smell like anything. Maybe because I run in through the dishwasher...? Either way, we love this bottle!

I really wanted these to work and I tried them several times before giving up on them. they leak no matter what i do to get the cover on right. they're going back.

there is a strong smell coming from the material used for the spout so we never used it, it's been in the drawer ever since we bought it, what a shame, I was so happy to have found a nice eco-freindly for my child but at the end no use for us...

Easy to wash due to the wide mouth and no parts to take apart before loading into the dishwasher. Also, my 6-yr-old, who still has a hard time twisting open Siggs on his own, can pull this open with ease. It's true it would probably leak if not closed properly and left upside down, but this hasn't been an issue for us as my son seems to be able to close it easily, and I suspect any cup would be the same other than a sippy. My 2-yr-old asks for this cup as well. We have the Safe Sippys too, and those do have issues, but not this sport cup. Great product overall.

Possibly we received a defective model but it leaked from day one. Too bad because it was perfect size-wize for a 5 yo!

I searched high & low for a simple, stainless steel, easy to clean cup for my 4 year old to take to pre-school. So far I'm pretty pleased with this one. I knew a wide neck would be the easiest to clean and it is. I don't like to have to use a bottle brush. Also, the spout is the basic pull up & down, no intricate parts for mildew & bacteria to build up on. This bottle will not leak if you make sure the spout is pressed ALL THE WAY DOWN. Unfortunately, my son and/or his teachers seem to neglect this fact. The cover will still close if the spout is not pushed all the way down and this results in leaking. I also like the 12oz option, not too little, not too much.
