I purchased this item for my then 9 month old daughter who at the time was wearing 12-18 months. I bought the 18-24 months and thought that it initially fit rather snug, but has since stretched (she's now a 1 year old). While the item is really soft, it developed some really bad pilling after I washed it for the second time. The first time it was washed, I hand washed it. The second time, I put it in the washing machine. I have always hung it up to dry and was very disappointed about the pilling. All in all, it is a nice product for keeping a baby warm during hot nights that shift into cooler mornings, but I have reservations since it pills very much. Since it's in the condition that it's in, my daughter only wears it around the house and not outside, which makes it not as useful of a product.

I bought these to have a neutral onesie for my daughter to wear under dresses in the winter. She has bad eczema and these are so soft and smooth on her skin. I will definitely buy some short-sleeved ones for the spring and summer!
