I bought this wagon because we wanted to make a backpack overnight trip with our toddler, who is too heavy to be carried (he is 3 yrs old). It worked very well on gravel trails, a bit harder on rocky trails (tends to topple over, so we had to have one person in front, one in the back with a rope). Some of the screws loosened up, but were capped, so we didn't loose them. It was sturdy enough, but not as sturdy as I expected given the price. Size was great: we were able to take our toddler, the tent and all of the food in the wagon. The air tires were great too on the gravel paths; pulling it was very easy. The pulling handle was too short for my husband, who is pretty tall. It was fine for me. He attached a rope to the handle, which worked fine. It smelled very rubbery out of the box, a bit less so now. Hope that goes away.
