I think that this sunshade is a good product. They must have changed the picture, because the item I received is identical to the picture. There are small Velcro pieces around the edge of the tent to close it up, and also larger pieces to roll the mesh side up. My son (now 18 months) loves playing in this tent, and I know it will keep him happy on the beach this summer. He has fair skin and needs to stay covered, but loves to play in the sand and the open side of this tent will allow him to do that while staying covered. I think it will be easier than an umbrella, and the sand pockets on the side, as well as a beach bag inside, will certainly hold it down even on windy beach days. One suggestion: make sure you save the plastic carry case it comes in, with the insert because it shows how to retold the tent (not too easy). Overall, I think this is a good product, and hey, it's a good price too!!

I was really excited to get this sunshade for my 5 month old for the beach. When we received it, the picture on the package looked just like above- it showed a zipper closure for the mesh to keep out bugs, etc. However, when we opened the packaging, there isn't a zipper closure and it's not a nice thick mesh, but rather a very thin cheap looking closure- there is a few small pieces of velcro around the dome which will not keep out bugs as we were hoping for. Although the shade is nice I was disappointed in the closure- The shade we received is a cheaper version of the one in the picture.
