I'm a big fan of this high chair, and I considered so many high chairs before clicking "purchase." We've had it for 2 months now, and our 8 month old is doing great in it. We use the infant insert, which makes her more secure, but it isn't necessary once the baby can sit on his/her own. My 3 favorite things: (1) Looks good. I consider a high chair a piece of furniture. We live in a small place with our kitchen/dining/living room all in one space so we wanted a high chair that blended. I don't understand why so many high chairs have to look so colorfully tacky (no worries though, Exersaucer is nearby). (2) Easy to clean. Wipe it down and no cushions to trap things. (3) Made in the USA (ahhh!). Before I bought it, I was concerned about the lack of folding, but the footprint is small enough. It also gets used so often that it would rarely be folded anyway. No regrets here!

Have been using this highchair for five months and love it so far. I was considering the stokke highchair but opted for this since it was cheaper and came with a tray. Was considering the additional infant insert but I'm glad I didn't buy it. I started my son out in this at 4 months--he wanted to practice sitting and was a bit whobbly but I just used a thick bath towel drapped over the back for support. I purchased the bumbo at 3 months but he was too big so I decide to get a highchair to help with his sitting. We usually did less than 5 minutes at a time a few times a day for practice. He didn't start solids until 6 months so was a champ at sitting in it without any extra support by then. I have removed the tray and pulled him up to the table at dinner as well, which is fun. It doesn't fold or store easily but is pretty discreet and the dark mahogany matches our dining set.
