I found these especially handy when cleaning my newborn daughter's belly button with alcohol before & after the dry part fell off. The cotton is tightly spun on the stick (esp at the tip) and it doesn't get caught on the dry belly button. Also, the tip is compact enough to get between the button & the skin. Now that she's 2, I love having them for safety's sake. Worth the price...even though there are just 55 in the box, you're paying for quality.
