Comments about Contour Nursing Pads - 60 Pads:

i just had my second baby and i've tried a lot of nursing pads! these are by far my favorite. here are my reasons...

      1. they're contoured to fit your breasts- this is huge! the biggest reason why i like these is the shape. you would be surprised by how hard this is to find. lots of other brands say they're "contoured" but then you pull them out and they're completely flat or lumpy. the last thing i want is my nursing pad showing through my clothes. these are actually molded to shape to you and there is a little, inconspicuous indent where your nipple fits in without being smashed. trust me, that little indent comes in handy when you have sore, chapped nipples.
      2. they don't come individually wrapped, just stacked in the box- this may be a con to others, but when i'm fumbling around in the dark after nursing my baby i don't want to have to worry about pealing apart wrappers. also, it seems wasteful to individually wrap every pad in plastic. that makes a lot of trash!
      3. they soak up a lot without having plastic backing- i tend to leak a lot so i need a pad that will actually do the job. this one does! and they don't have a plastic backing so they're breathable.

i would (and do) recommend these!

These stick to my nipples and have caused a bad rash making it very uncomfortable and hard to nurse my son. I don't reccomend them at all.

Best nursing pads for me. Love the contoured shape and the nipple shape. These absorb more than most pads and they stay in place. I tried Medela pads and these are much better (and cheaper!)

Comments about Contour Nursing Pads - 60 Pads:

Great contoured shape and fits nicely in most bras, but OUCH! The cotton fibers sticks to your nipples which hurts when removing them. The stray cotton fibers also are annoying to pick off and get in baby's mouth. Go with Lansinoh. They're worth the few extra dollars. I tend to leak and spray and I've never had a Lansinoh leak out or have fibers stick. The Lansinoh also are easier to peel down in your bra. I guess I should be writing a Lansinoh review too but I don't have the time!

I have had six babies and these are the only pads I will use. I go way out of my way to get them as I have tried so many others and had problems with leaking or not breathing enough every time! Yes sometime they can stick after you leak and it dries but it's a small price to pay for not leaking through onto clothes! I have had them get super full, heavy and wet, but they have never leaked and that is what I love...no embarrassing wet marks on my clothes! They are shaped and I love that too, don't think it's un natural looking at all if anything it helps cover your nipple so it doesn't show through clothes as easily!

I got these as part of my try-everything-once-to-figure-out-what-I-like-best plan. I didn't even end up using the whole box. Every time that I went to nurse these would be stuck to my nipples and removing them felt like pulling off a scab (sorry for the yucky description... but this is honestly what it felt like to me). In order to get them off pain-free I would have to manually express some milk from my breast to loosen it up. I'm going back to the Lansinoh breast pads.

Discovered these when I was nursing my first child and since then I've used no other. So glad to find I can order them in bulk on this website, because they are hard to find in stores in my area. They are the most breathable nursing pads I've found, and although they can be somewhat visible through clothes, I find they are much less visible than the larger, flatter brands of pads. They stay in place well, and they are SO absorbent, too. I can see that they might not work so well for larger-breasted mamas out there, but they are perfect for me (anywhere from large B to small D when nursing).

These seem to become heavy and bulky very quickly, and that's with several changes a day. The worst part is that I've noticed when I remove them, there is a clear, gelatin-like substance, similar to the abosorbent core of a diaper left on my breast. I have to think this is unhealthy for the baby, so before I can nurse, I'm cleaning and inspecting to be sure there's no residue! The strange thing is, I've never noticed a tear or puncture in the pads. I do not produce a lot of milk, so there isn't much volume going into the pads. If you're going to use these, please be careful of the absorbent polymers getting into your baby's system.

When you only have a tinly drop of milk on your nipple the pad will stick to it and it is really uncomfortable to peel it off again. You'll have cotton fuzz sticking to your nipple too after removing the pad. I also don't understand why there is a nipple shape on the front that is actually visible through the bra and shirt. I used the pads for two days and will throw them out now, they are not even good as a back up when I run out of my regular brand.

I have had several experiences with inadequate breast pads, some of which did not allow the nipples to breathe and subsequently made my nipples feel raw and sore. Some of the other pads appearance under clothing was very unflattering even when wearing bulky clothes. I have 5 children and unfortunately did not know about these breast pads until my 4th child. These have been a savior and I no longer have to wear bulky clothes to cover the lumpy appearance of the other pads. They allow the nipples to breathe so no more sore nipples and they are very absorbent. I have experienced nothing but good results from these pads.

I've tried all the major brands, and these are the only ones that are truly contoured (others say they are, but are either flat as pancakes or like paper cones). They don't crinkle or bunch up, and I like that they are not individually wrapped, so there's no extra waste of time or plastic. (Just put a bunch in a baggie if you want to keep them clean in your diaper bag!) It's true they stick to the nipple sometimes, but the pros far outweigh these cons to me.

Very absorbant, natural looking and great priced. I have used every brand and this is far and away the best brand out there. I have used it for all 3 of my kids. Love it!

I wish I'd taken the advice of the other ladies here who did not like this product. I have many of their same complaints.

                                                1) The soft cottony inside stuck to my sore nipples- ouch.
                                                2) These pads may have an indent for your nipple, but the other side has a little nipple-shaped bump that is totally visible through my bra & shirt! (I don't care to look like I'm cold or perky.)
                                                3) They have an adhesive strip, but it's not very strong, so the pad doesn't stay put. It shifts and rubs on my nipples- again ouch.
                                                4) I have no complaints about absorbency, but the pads are thicker than Lansinoh, Nuk and the hospital brand I got.

I guess I'll try to wear them only at night since I have 54 more of these things.
