Wet or dry - this smells great and has a nice, light detangling quality for my 2.5 yr old daughter's long hair. However, I would not use it on infant scalp, as it irritates it/ makes the hairline red.

We love this for our 18-month-old's long, wavy hair. We spray it after her bath and comb through (no knots)! It smells lovely, and you can't beat it for the price.

It did nothing to untangle my 3yr old daughter's long straight hair. In the end she still screamed and cried as I tried to comb/brush as gently as possible.

Great de-tangling spray. We use it after baths and when our son wakes up with cotton candy hair after naps. We usually try to stick with the natural products but nothing I have found works as good as this stuff.

I love this spray for my daughter! She has fine curly hair, and is hard to brush after bathing. So I give it some light spritzes and the brush goes right through. It doesn't leave any buildup or greasy feeling, just beautiful curls. It also smells great. I don't know what that other mother is talking about when she says it smells bad. Great product. Also good for bedhead mornings.

I am still looking for a spray-on detangler (whatever happened to the old Johnsons No More Tears spray?!) bc it sounds like California Baby has the same problem.

I use this product on my 16 month old's curly hair. it works great, and when totally dry, her curls looks soft and shiny...you can never tell there is product in it, and you don't need to wash it out regularly. it's like using a leave in conditioner on dry hair.

My daughter hair is very hard to comb through. It works very well and is not a tear fest every time I comb her hair. However the smell is horrible, even she told me she "Mommy stinky".
