This sunscreen has worked very well for us. I like that it's a barrier sunscreen rather than a chemical sunscreen, meaning that the ingredients don't absorb into the skin. They sit on top of the skin instead, blocking out the sun's harmful rays. I use the sunscreen on my 5 month old, and it has not irritated his sensitive skin. I also like that the sunscreen doesn't have a smell. I for one do not like the smell of most sunscreens. This one is truly fragrance free. I'm so glad I came across this product. It's easier to find than most barrier sunscreens, and I like being able to order it from diapers.com, as well. The only things I don't like about the product are that it tends to be a bit greasy, and it's also hard to squeeze out of the tube. The greasiness goes away after a while, though. It's not too bothersome.

I thought this would be a decent slightly cheaper mineral based alternative to CA Baby, but I am switching back. The lotion is a lot thicker than CA Baby so it's harder to apply. This I could live with, but it also separates, so that every morning when I open it oily liquid dribbles out all over my hands. Yuck. Plus the dribble reacts with the lotion and goops it up somehow so it is even harder to apply. It's slightly better if I remember to shake the container thoroughly, but not perfect. Also, I don't know what moron designed the opening on the tube, but it is microscopic and you have to squeeze with all your might for a drop of lotion to come out. I have to take off the cap to get anything -- not the end of the world, but annoying. My son hates putting on sunscreen so all these irritations add up. I'd rather pay a few bucks more for CA Baby which is less of a hassle to use.

On the plus side, it works. My very fair child is not sunburned.

Terrible product. I purchased before any negative reviews were posted. This product was VERY difficult to rub in and even when it's rubbed in, it still is awful and made my baby look purple. Going back to good ol' Water Babies.

Too thick for everyday use as advertised--I'll put it on him if I know he is going to be in the sun a lot--otherwise you need waterproof for the beach : (

I think this is an excellent, mainstream option for mineral-based sunscreens, and I've tried many top brands which can be hard to find in stores. It's nice and creamy and rubs in well for being mineral based. Also rates very well with EWG. This is an expensive price, though, cheaper at the big box store down the street.

I use this daily on my one year old daughter. It is the only product I have used that doesn't run into her eyes, or cause irritation when I do accidentally get some in her eyes.
She is very sensitive to sunscreens, and other tear-free sunblocks have caused her eyes to swell, tear, and made her generally miserable.
It is a bit thick, and doesn't rub in easily, and she tends to look like Casper the Ghost afterward, but she can play in water and it still stays on.
The competitive moms of our playground all use California Baby, but I don't get the hype when this is cheaper, works beautifully and is a physical sun barrier, also made with ingredients you can pronounce.
