I wanted a carseat cover that did not interfere with the carseat or straps. This is a nice cover. It is soft and warm on the inside and water - resistant on the outside. Probably not the warmest for really cold areas and I will likely throw a light blanket in there for really cold days, although it may not be needed, we'll see. The bottom zipper only unzips starting on the right side. I wish it had a zipper on both sides so you could just unzip both sides and pull it down farther toward the feet. As it is, you have to unzip starting at the one side and kind of fold it off to the side instead of just pulling it down toward their feet. The top of the cover rests on my 4 month olds hairline, but as he grows, it looks like it will continue to lay at the same spot because the extra fabric/stretch in the back will just be pulled forward by a bigger head!

I love this product. It is so much easier than bundling the baby up in mulitple layers and more comfortable for them. I love that the flap totally covers the baby's face. When you walk to and from the car they don't get a draft and when you put them in the car just flip the flap back over.
The only con is that when you click the baby into the base, just pull up the fabric underneath a little, it can get in the way and cause the seat not to click in properly.
