Any woman who has had a baby knows how out of your mind you are after birth. I was given the Itzbeen when I had my son 2 years ago. It really helped me keep track of when he was last fed, changed, how long he slept, etc. It was so helpful having the timer and not having to remember when you last did something. I loved it so much I ordered another one for the birth of my daughter this summer.

Absolute must-have for new parents! This thing is so easy to use, the clip stays on everything you clip it to there is a light on top that glows for about two minutes and it's great for navigating around his crib when he is sleeping.. It helped us keep track of everything and the left right peg on the bottom to keep track of which side he nursed from last. Absolutely worth the money!! Great shower gift!!

Wow is this a great invention! When we had our boy/girl twins one had collic, one had acid reflux and nobody slept. The Itzbeen really helped us navigate the first 5 months of sleep deprivation. I highly recommend one for each child.

I inherited this product from a friend, who told me that it was a lifesaver. I had absolutely no idea how to use it or what the big deal was at first. Then reality arrived in the form of a beautiful little girl who needed to eat. And sleep. and have her diaper changed. How do people keep track of this stuff? With an itzbeen, that's how!
I honestly do not know how I would have gotten through those first few months without my itzbeen. There are so many other things demanding your attention, the last thing I wanted to do was write down every time the baby did something - I'd be writing constantly. With this, you just press a button when you feed her. Press another button when she goes down for a nap. And poof - that question "how long has she been napping?" - one glance at my itzbeen tells me exactly what I need to know.
Awesome, awesome product and a great gift to give unsuspecting new parents.

I didn't purchase this product until we were a few weeks into having our first child. Originally, I planned to use an iPhone app to track everything, but it became evident that this method would be difficult if my husband or someone else were providing assitance while I rested or slept in the other room (phone goes with me).

I bought this since it could be passed between helpers, and it was very easy to use -- even my husband's 75 y/o grandmother used it!

Despite not having the data back-up to track sleep and feeding patterns, this is a wonderful product!

I was given this as a shower gift and use it daily for the past 6 months. It appeals to, well, my love of structure. At first we used it to time feedings and make sure our newborn didn't sleep too long. Now we use it to see how long he sleeps at night, to keep time during breast pumping and when he's needed medicine to clock that. Its hit the floor many times (probably why the clip broke off) but it keeps on working. Am buying this as a gift for a pregnant friend and will buy a replacement if I ever need it!

I got this with Baby #2. The reality is that you don't need it for your baby. You change them when they're wet. You feed them when they're hungry. They will let you know all of this. You will quickly be able to tell which breast you used last with a quick poke.

However, it is priceless for raising a toddler. They need to eat three meals and two snacks a day (every three hours). They need to be reminded to sit on the potty every hour or two. They take two hour naps and you won't be able to remember whether she went down at 12 or at 1.

There WILL come a day when you are laying on the floor with a 100.4 degree fever with your 18 month old bouncing off your belly trying to remember if you changed his diaper today and figuring out whether you need to feed him again yet - and he's not going to let you know if he's hungry.

She will get sick and you will need to give her medication every four hours...or call the doctor back in a 1/2 hour if her fever goes down. Was that at 2:30 or at 3am??? And it's really fun for your kid to play with the buttons when they're on the potty - just flip lock switch so they don't reset everything.

The itzbeen timer is foolproof to operate - it's easy to set the time and the alarms - I did it without the instruction manual, you just press and hold buttons. It's also easy to turn the alarms on and off - another press and hold, and the sound option is another switch on the side. The only drawback - it was a challenge to me to remove the battery cover and install the batteries. Not so much for my toddler. However, she's only done that once so it hasn't been a problem. A little duct tape would easily take care of the situation for a more persistent kid.

Our first ItzBeen broke (a few too many drops in the driveway), so my order was a replacement. I look at the ItzBeen at least three times an hour, and it is very convenient when my 8 month old daughter is dropped off at the babysitter, or picked up at the end of the day by my husband or mother. The ItzBeen keeps everyone on the same page, and there is never any doubt how long it has been since our baby was fed, changed, or slept. The extra button on the bottom can be used to track time between medications is baby if sick, to time eating solids once baby is older, or how long between bowel movements if needed. I would recommend this as a shower gift to every expectant mother...or two in different colors if expecting twins!

Right now I don't use every button because my baby is still in the NICU. This has been by my side the entire time. I'm having to pump and this little timer keeps me on schedule and lets me know how long it's been since the last pumping. I have the alarm set so if I go over, it will beep at me. It wakes me up like an alarm clock in the middle of the night. I also use it to tell me when her next feeding is. LOVE the alarm feature. Yes, I could use a paper system, but this is SO much easier and the alarms make it worth the cost because it keeps me on time.

This product is great in the middle of the night when I hear the baby start to stir, I can take a look at my Itzbeen and see how long it has been since her last feeding or diaper change. Sometimes, of course- I get discouraged that it has only been less time than I would actually have liked to pass....Oh well! In anycase, this is a great product that helps you know when the last feeding or diaper change took place. Only down fall, is that it doesn't keep a running total of how long the baby has slept during the night. Because by the time morning comes, I actually forgot how often the baby woke up.

This has been my right hand through the first months of my baby's life. She is 4 months old and I am still using it. It is great to measure how long your baby is eating and how long since their last feeding, diaper change and last dose of medicine. Since she has been sleeping through the night we use the sleep button to measure how long she slept.
I love this timer so much it is now my go to baby shower gift. I gave one to my cousin and she loves it just as much as I do!!!
It is definitely a life saver. When you are a new mom or a mom of multiple children there is so much on your mind, this timer just makes a few less things for you to have to remember.

This is a great little tool to have with a newborn. As first time parents, there was so much to learn and keep track of in terms of feeding. And as an exhausted mother I appreciated the timer as a helpful reminder.

It was really useful in helping my husband (or other helpers) to co-parent. When I got up in the middle of the night to feed or change the baby, I'd hit the relevant button on the timer. When my husband got up with the baby in the morning, he didn't have to wake me up to find out when the baby had last been fed or changed.

I recently asked my husband what baby products he would most recommend to our friends who are expecting their first. His immediate response was the Itzbeen Timer.

You can live without this timer and write everything down on paper. But if you have the extra money to buy this little gadget, I highly recommend it.

I love this thing. For the first 2 months I used a notepad to keep track of what time my son ate, got his medicine, had a diaper change etc. I bought this and it made it SO MUCH EASIER! I only wish that it kept a journal of everything so you could see a whole days worth.

This item is great for keeping track of the time in between feedings and changes. It doesn't however keep track of the number of changes or feedings. Has a count up timer and alarm feature.
