This was our favorite baby seat in our dining room: compact, attractive, and made it feel much more like our son was really at the table with us. We loved this chair until our 30 pound son managed to push one side of the chair off the table while he was sitting in it. He ended up dangling sideways.

Having seen this happen once, I'm now surprised that it didn't happen sooner. The clamp pressure can loosen (or just not be quite tight enough), and the only way to prevent this would be to add a lip at the very edge of the table so that a loose clamp can't slide off the table completely.

If there were a pin that locked the arms in their vertical position, then the chair wouldn't flop sideways if one side came off the table.

We absolutely love this chair and so does our little guy. We orginally started out with a normal high chair and he hated it. We use this as our everyday highchair hooked right onto the kitchen island where we all eat. He is so happy that he can eat right along with rest of the family. I would not hesitate to order this product at all. It fits great onto our countertop and is very secure. It also takes up so little space compared to standard high chairs and no messy tray to clean up. The fabric does get dirty but wipes clean easily enough. I have not had to take it off to throw in wash yet so not sure how convenient or inconvenient that will be.

This has been a life-saver for us and a great high chair replacement. This allows our son to sit at the table with us. It's fairly easy to clean the cover - remove it from the frame and wash in a gentle, cold cycle. We keep it on our dining table, as opposed to taking it with us to restaurants because it's pretty tedious to screw and unscrew it, but nothing too prohibitive.

We recently moved into an apartment with a tiny kitchen. I literally don't think the highchair from my older son could be opened in our kitchen. This chair has been the perfect solution! It takes up hardly any space and it is so convenient having our baby right at the table with us. It is so easy to feed our baby while the rest of the family eats since he is right up at the table. It is great to feel like he is eating with the family, rather than at his own highchair. Also, I was a little concerned that our baby would not be able to sit up in this until he was older. However, we began using it right before he was five month, before he could sit on his own and have had no problems. I cannot imagine ever going back to a regular highchair, even if space were not limited. We love this chair!

So happy I stuck with the reviews instead of going with a more "trendy" seat that rotates. First night we put it on the 2" flat bar top and my 5 month old LOVES it. It is super easy to put on and baby appears to be very secure even though she does not sit on her own yet, she sits in this just perfect.
Unfortunately this will not fit on our dining table because of the triple beveled edge and deep lip (not sure of a better way to describe). I would see this fitting on most other tables though. We are keeping it anyway to use a the bar counter and for taking out to eat, super easy to put on, take off and fold up.
I have owned the type of highchair that sits on a chair, which was a complete nightmare to keep clean. Food was always getting in all the small gaps and in between the seat and chair. This will be a breeze to clean!

I had my grandbaby visit. I was worried about space for him because I have a very small apartment. My daughter pulled out this chair and connected it securely to the bar where he was able to be at our height and level while we entertain him. This chair is compact and easy to travel with. I will buy two one for each of my nephews.

This is by far one of the best baby products I've purchased. It puts my daughter right up at table level (most high chairs in restaurants are too low), so she has an easier time easting and is much happier. In fact, the few times we've forgotten the chair (to our dismay), she has said, "seat, seat," wondering where her chair has gone. We dragged this thing to Ireland and Scotland and to every other place we've traveled to and haven't for a second regretted having the extra pound or two in our suitcase. I wish I could give this thing 6 stars - it's a true gem! Also, we love that the fabric can be removed for proper cleaning and that it feels very secure once attached.

I bought this to use away from home. There are a few types of tables that you can not safely use it on. In general I really like it. The material is high quality. It is comfortable for my son and he doesn't slide all around in it like restaraunt high chairs.

Let me start by saying I did a LOT of research looking for a high chair and was ready to pay $500. I live in manhattan NY and although my apt. is not tiny I hate unnecessary bulky items. I saw this and the lobster chair and ordered them both not expecting much.

I have a 5 month old and the phil and teds lobster chair when placed at counter and table was fine but only his head showed up for eating. This chair however was perfect for him, just the right height, arms at table with room to grow.

It folds up easy, cleans easy and I just wipe up the table or counter- no bulky tray to clean, no big chair to hide or huge seat/pad to wipe. Less gets on the floor compared to high chair as table/counter is bigger than a tray.

He sits straight and it increases posture without being uncomfortable. It is VERY stable and easy on/off table. He is now 6 1/2 months and luvs it! Easy in/out and cocoon like, never had to use straps yet and feet hang so he cant push out of it. And the price? It's a steal!!!

Easiest, most productive thing i have purchased for any of my children. I would get the black color though as food stains (carrots, prunes) and why make yourself crazy cleaning. Of course, maybe other colors wipe clean but cant say as I have black=)

I can't say enough good things about this chair. I only wish we had purchased it sooner. Our youngest is now 16 months and 23 lbs and still fits in it perfectly. It folds right up and out the door to take to restuarants and fits on most stable tables. The best part about taking it out is we can fit her IN the booth. She doesn't have to stick out in the aisle like in a high chair.
She seems so much more happy that she is using the table like the rest of the family, verses sitting in her own seat. She rarely tries to get out of this chair, and it frees up the 4th chair at our table at home because we don't have to strap her booster seat into one of our chairs anymore.

We use this chair at home and restaurants. Easy to take off and throw in the car. Takes up less space than our old high chair and is much easier to clean. I use a microfiber cloth, and just wipe off after each meal. The fabric is super easy to clean. I've also thrown it in the wash after heavily soiled meals, although just for a soak/rinse cyle on my HE machine and it's held up great so far (maybe 5 washes already). Also sits my daughter closer to the table - she still gets food on herself and the chair, but I like it better than the high chair. The strap keeps her more secure and helps to keep her in her chair a little longer too!

This is an amazing product. I am a nanny and bring my daughter with me. I needed a place for her to eat lunch with the other children (she's now 14 months) there is a harness to hold her in. and there is padding in all the right places to support and be comfortable for her. This chair has fit on every table I put it in and there is little to no gap between her and the table. I have not found a single thing bad about this at all. It stows in its own bag and is lightweight. Do not use on a pedestal table as the weight of the chair will tip the table over onto the child. (has not happened to me but just push on the edge of a pedestal table and see what happens.) A+++++

We bought this seat for my daughter who is 4 months old. She loves sitting at the table with us when we eat and this chair has made it so easy to do.

You can have this assembled and ready to use in less time than it take to get it out of the box. It seems pretty versatile as far as what kind of tables it can accommodate. Ours screwed on no problem and is incredibly stable even though my daughter is an 18 lb wiggle monster. She loves this seat and will sit quietly through all of our meals playing with her toys while she sits in it. Just wish it came with a snap-on table of its own because sometimes the toys fall down through the space between the table and her.
