i did a lot of research on baby gear, and thought this swing seemed like a great option for the price, and because it wouldn't take up much space in our apartment. however, my baby never liked this swing. his head slumps forward because of the neck rest, causing his chin to touch his chest. i'm afraid he can't breathe. also, the recline is really the only position. the upright position causes him to lean way to fall forward, and always falls down into the recline position. i gave it 2 stars just in case maybe it works for other babies, but it's a dud for us!

First of all the wrong bars were included (that hold the seat fabric) - so it did not go together correctly. When the manufacturer finally sent the correct ones, I put it together and was disappointed a second time when I realized that in the reclined position, baby's head is practically going upside-down as she swings. Then in the upright position she's slumped forward. Also, the fabric is not supportive enough to the back/neck, so when laying down her chin is tucked down too much. Do they even test these things on real babies?? Sending this back and getting the Fischer Price Cradle 'N Swing which I know makes baby happy.
