After my first son grew out of the baby bjorn (at only 9m) I purchased the infantino and have been happy with it since. With both of my boys we start with the bjorn and finish with the infantino. My youngest is now 14months and is just about growing out of being held frontward. I do have to put his arms and shoulders out of the top or they would be squeezed. But he enjoys it better that way anyway! I have yet to try carrying the boys on my back with the infantino but I believe that that is the next step! invest if you would like an affordable durable carrier option!
