      • Announcing a brand new idea in publishing books for babies: the completely durable, completely safe Indestructibles. Published on the same paper-like material used in shipping envelopes, Indestructibles are 100% baby-proof: chew-proof, drool-proof, and rip-proof. That's because Indestructibles not only will not tear or turn gummy with teething, but they are also completely washable.

Indestructibles are also energetic, beautiful, and created just for baby. The printing material reproduces color artwork with uncommon depth, and with no residual inkiness; the artwork, paintings by Kaaren Pixton and reminiscent of Eric Carle, is happy, each page a simple, colorful image of an animal or bird or insect against a rich, textured background. The effect is 3D-like and completely visual. There are no words, making each perfect for parents and babies to look at together, with mom or dad telling the story.

Three titles launch the series: Creep! Crawl! about animals that crawl, Flutter! Fly! about animals that fly, and Wiggle! March! about farm animals'books babies can really sink their teeth into.

          Comments about Creep! Crawl!:

These books are absolutely brilliant! My son devours them. The pictures and colors are so vibrant. There are no words, no story. Great for babies. And love that he can chew on them for hours and I know that he won't actually be eating the paper. I have bought many for gifts for friends! I highly recommend them!

            Comments about Flutter! Fly!:

The Indestructible series are great books for little babies. They really are indestructible and my daughter LOVES them! She is able to chew on the book and look at the pictures. We "read" the book together often.

              Comments about Creep! Crawl!:

I was a little surprised to receive these books and find out they are PAPERBACK. My first thought was "there's no way these things are indestructible; they are so flimsy!" But after a week of allowing my 8 month old son full reign, these books are still around! It's really true they don't rip. They have gotten a little bent, but I just flatten them out under some heavy books and they're fine again. My son absolutely LOVES the vibrant pictures, and as an artist, I love them too. There are no words, so if you're the hopelessly uncreative unimaginative type, maybe you won't go for that. All together, happy with my purchase. Finally, a book I can let him have free reign on without worrying about him destroying it!

My 6 month old son LOVES to play with/chew on the mail. I don't like him to put it in his mouth because of the ink/soggy paper. I found this book as an alternative to "paper". He chews on it all the time and the book is even washable!. The pictures are super cute-- eric carle style.
