Comments about Ina May's Guide to Childbirth:

In planning a natural childbirth, this book was wonderfully helpful. The stories, in particular, help to de-horrify childbirth - something that even in a metropolitan, uber-green city like San Francisco was hard to find. While I didn't end up blissfully birthing my baby in a warm tub spiked with patchouli oil (in fact I had an epidural), it was great to read about positive birth stories leading up to my due date!

Comments about Ina May's Guide to Childbirth:

This book was very supportive of the natural birthing process and helped instill confidence rather than fear. It's easy and enjoyable to read as it is very well written. Ina May never comes across as "dumbing things down" and somehow finds the perfect analogy to explain the laboring process. I highly recommend this book to all pregnant mamas!
