I bought this for my 9month old to wear under a swim suit, i also bought a swim suit w/the swim diaper built in. I bought both in a medium, My little one is 30inchs & 19lbs, both the diaper & swim suit fit great & the swimsuit has quite some stretch so it'll fit her for awhile. I really wish I'd come across these when my other 2 children were in diapers, the swim diaper doesn't get bulky like disposable ones, it drys fast & even if baby pees a little the outside stays dry. I just love the iplay swim diaper & their swimsuits. It's worth every penny

This swim diaper is effective and has done its job in holding a poop in place which is what they are designed to do so you don't end up with poop floating in the pool water but the diaper runs small even for my tall and slender 3 yrs old, it's a little too snug around the waist and legs and the buttons, though convenient when taking the it off in one pull are flimsy when buttoning on. I would recommend get a size bigger if you have a stocky kid or this will not fit at all.

My daughter wears these to our pool and they work great. I wouldn't even bother with disposable diapers because they are sloppy and hard to get off. She's only gone pee in them (I'm dreading the day she #2's) They are easing to clean-I throw them in the washer and let them hang to dry.
I love the side snap on these, it makes them easy to put on/off.
I think these might run on the small side. My daughter is 6 months and weighs 24 pounds...she wears 18 Months.

I love this swim diaper. We have 2 of them. I don't use disposable diapers or disposable swim diapers, so I was looking for a good re-usable swim option. This swim diaper is true to size, and it is really easy to put on and take off. It snaps up along the side, so you can unsnap it when removing it. If there is a poop in the diaper, you'll like that you don't have to slide the diaper down (like with the elastic band swim diapers), rather you can unsnap it and it comes off very easily. Less mess, easy clean up.

...except that I wish the snaps along the side stayed snapped better. I love that it has a side that comes undone - so much easier to take off when wet (esp if my daughter goes #2!) - but the leg opening is a tad tight on her (she has average-sized legs, I would say) so the bottom snap is ALWAYS undone. If they stayed snapped I would give it a 5 for sure. Fit overall seems true-to-size in terms of rise and waist opening, and I prefer it to other swim diapers we own. I like that they offer white color for this too - goes well with all of her suits.

My 21 month old has used these for 1 week in swim lessons and so far they are great! He hasn't gone # 2 but I've heard in any re-usable diaper its awful.
Love the snaps on the side which makes it easier to remove wet. Overall works well!

We purchased two of these for our two kids and on both of them the plastic snaps are VERY loose. Out of 6 or 7 snaps there are only 2 or 3 that snap tight enough to stay together. This makes it very hard to get on a squirmy toddler when the snaps keep pulling apart. I would have assumed it was just one bad diaper given the other good reviews, but we bought two that were different sizes and both had this problem. They did stay on them in the water since we used them under a regular swim suit, but I question how long they will last and if they will really do the job of keeping poop in if needed. I have no doubt that they would come off in the water if we tried to use these without something over them.

We bought two of these in two different sizes for our two kids and on both of them the snaps along the side barely hold the diaper together. There are 6 or 7 plastic snaps up the side and on both of them only a few snaps actually snap together and stay together and the others will pull out without any force. We used them once and they stayed on, but it doesn't make me very confident that they will do their job if needed. It also makes it a lot harder to get them on because the snaps come apart so easily with a squirming kid.

Bought my 6 month, 16 lb baby girl the 12 month 18-22 lbs diaper. It is too small. She's worn it twice- it works but leaves huge marks on her thighs and belly.

The diaper works great and is very absorbent. My daughter pooped and nothing leaked, which is exactly what we need. The diaper runs small. My daughter is 5 months and just over 16 lbs and I bought 12 month size. It fits but the elastic is very tight so we don't leave it on very long. I will be buying more, just larger in size.

They run on the small side. If your baby is 6 months old you need to order the 12 month size and so on.

Swim diaper worked well and did what it was intended to do. Love that it has buttons on the side to make it easier to put on. My daughter is 15 months but the size 6-12 months fit her the best. She is small for her age.

This product was recently used on a trip to the beach. The diaper has snaps on one side that make it super easy to take on and off. The large had a comfortable fit on my 24lb 13 month old and there seemed to be room to grow.

LOVE love love these swim diapers. I bought 2 pairs for my son and they do exactly what they're supposed to and are too cute! The one negative (but it's minor) is that they are a bit bulky. There seems to be a bit too much fabric in the front and are a little puffy but that also means they're not fitted super close to baby's skin which is good. My son has worn these both under a swim suit and on their own. I highly recommend this product and intend on buying larger sizes as needed as he grows.
