Comments about Long Sleeve Rashguards - White:

Once you get this on, it's great. But the head opening is so small (my daughters head size is only 20th percentile, so that's not the issue.) it causes a lot of screaming when you put it on and take it off and I don't blame her. But once it's on, it does the job and fits perfectly as far as sleeves and length. My daughter is 11.5 months and the 12m fits perfectly. I'd still recommend it though because I haven't found a better one. I see that they have ones with zip tops, which may solve this issue, but I can't tell if those are for swimming too.

firstly, i'm going to have to take their word for it that the shirt is rated at SPF 50. the rashguard is light, and my green one is bright. i did have to return to get a different size because sizing is always a tricky business. so here are the weight recommendations for the sizes:

        newborn: 6-10 lbs (3 months)
        small: 10-18 lbs (6 months)
        medium: 18-22 lbs (12 months)
        large: 22-25 lbs (18 months)
        x-large: 25-30 lbs (24 months)
        3T: 30-38 lbs (3 years)
        4T: 38-46 lbs (4 years)

if your child is at the cutoff, expect the shirt to be a bit loose. i think i'm going to buy a rashguard for myself too.
