Hush Little Baby by Sylvia Long

When I travel I always buy my daughter a book. I found this book in a boutique book store in San Francisco and immediately knew this was the one. A modern update on a classic. She still loves this book 2 1/2 years later. This is a staple in our night time rotation. We sing together at bed time.

I bought this for my son when he was 10 months old and he is now almost three and he still loves it. He can actually sing the words himself. I'm gonig to buy another copy for my baby son because I know my three year old won't share his!

My daugther adores this book and reading it through once is never enough. She received it as a gift when she was 11 months and loves it at bedtime or anytime.

This is one of the best. A book about the love you can give your baby...w/o giving the material things...SUPER job on the remake of the original book.

Very nurturing and strengthens the bond with you and baby. I find this book very relaxing and comforting to my 15 mth old even when she is cranky.

I've read it so many times that I now have it memorized and can sing it to my daughter at bedtime. She loves it and asks for "Lullaby"....

My 18 month old loves this book. It is so nicely done that I do not mind reading it half a dozen times a day!

My baby loves this book. I sing it to him every night and it's nice to tell him what mommy will do for him not buy for him. Simple illustrations make it very interesting for the little one!

I purchased this book for my baby while I was still pregnant. He now loves it when mommy sings to him from a book. It's perfect for a good night lullaby.

A friend gave this book to our daughter when she was about 16 months old. She loves this book, and so do I! The book can be read or can be sung. The illustrations are gorgeous, and the book is long enough to be a good before-bed book (on anytime book, for that matter). A keeper.
