Comments about Whole Grain Barley Cereal:

I am a HUGE fan of the Whole Grain Barley Cereal by Healthy Times. My son is 10 months old and my husband and I started giving him this cereal at around 8 months during a period of time in which my son became constipated... the cereal not only aided in increasing the frequency of his bowel movements, it also softed his stool quite a bit.

Prior to giving him this barley cereal, we were giving him oatmeal cereal (along with Stage 2 foods). I am still nursing my son and he had never had an issue with constipation in the past, so we were uncertain as to a solution - my mom recommended barley and it was truly helpful. This Healthy Times brand barley is soft, organic and not bland-tasting by any means... a wonderful addition to your child's menu!
