I absolutely love these sleepsacks with foot openings! My son has been in a sleep sack since birth and he has always loved them. Now that he's a toddler (2.5 years old), it was getting a bit ridiculous to keep him in a sleep sack because he was hopping around the room after we put it on! We absolutely had to put it on him because it had been part of his bedtime ritual but he couldn't walk in it! Along came this great toddler-appropriate sleep sack! Now we can bathe him, put on pjs and sleepsack and then he can walk around during bedtime stories and teeth brushing. We put him to bed and then just cover his exposed feet with a blanket which is helping to transition him to normal blanket use. Can't say enough good things about this ingenious product!

My 19 month old son does not stay still when he sleeps at night and will never stay covered up. I did not want to use his old sleep sacks as there were no foot openings and I did not want him to fall if he stood up in his crib. This blanket fleece solved both problems. He can walk around with this on and still stays warm at night. He actually sleeps through the night now because he is no longer waking up cold when he gets uncovered. It is a little on the long side, but he will be able to use it that much longer as he grows!

We always use sleep sacks for the kids. This one is great since my 3 year old was trying to walk in the old one he had. Having the feet works really well. Until I ordered this from Diapers.com I didn't even know it existed.

I love these sleep sacks. Yes the sizing is a bit large, but also remember that it gives them comfort to sleep in instead of being too constricting. My son is a very active sleeper (he moves around a LOT!!!) and these sleepers keep him warm all night. We have grown with them from age 6 months to now almost 2 years old. we just grew into the "footie" ones and my son loves them. He calls it his "nap suit".

My son was constantly uncovering himself during sleep and fussing because he got cold. I was hopeful when I purchased this product and it has paid-off. Now the blanket is a back-up when we have really cold nights. The size of the garment is not an issue as my son is taller than average for 21 mos.
This product has helped a cold and tired toddler which makes me a happy mom.

I read some reviews and people commented that when the feet were sticking out of the holes, the sack would drag on the floor. It is true, but doesn't bother me since the purpose of the product is for the baby to sleep in it. I think these toddler versions are a big thicker than the x-large, but maybe that is just due to washing and wear. I recommend this to anyone whose child cannot sleep under a blanket due to movement throughout the night.

We love these and so does our son. Halo allows him to have a blanket at night without the worry he may become tangled up. The design keeps him from over heating - and the leg openings allow him to walk without tripping. Because the leg openings only allow enough movement to walk he is unable to get his foot up to the rail of his crib to climb out! This gives great peace of mind. The only bad is the red fleece is VERY messy and needs to be washed quite a few times before it stops shedding. The blue does not have this issue. Also, these run big so you will get plenty of use out of them!

Our toddler son loves this, and therefore so do we. He hates footie pajamas and is afraid to be under the covers, so without the sleepsack he tossed and fussed because he was cold. As soon as we started him wearing this, everyone got back to sleeping. He loves having his feet free and can even walk around in it on cold mornings. We need to get another for a backup!

Since my two year old refuses to have blankets in his bed sleep sacks are a must in out house. This one is super soft and comfy and he loves the dinosaur on it. Another bonus is that it's plenty big so he will be able to wear it for a long time. (He's 39" and 33 lbs.) No cons for us. Thanks, Halo for making these big enough for toddlers!!

I love this product, and my son does too. But, it is quite long. My 20 month old is quite tall for his age and he cannot walk in this sleeper, but loves to sleep in it. My 8 year old son (50 inches tall) can put this sleep blanket on and zip it up and walks around the house to stay warm. Yes, it is short on his legs, but that would give you the idea of it being too long for the 20 month old (37 inches tall) to walk around in.

This blanket is great for sleeping, but beware that it is very long if you intend for your child to walk around in it. My daughter is an average-sized 2 year old and it bunches so much at the bottom that it can be hard for her to walk. I was really hoping to get something she could "hang out" in during mornings/evenings in our very-cold farmhouse, but I am not sure it is going to work because of the length. The blanket (2t-3t) measures 40" from the shoulder seam to the bottom of the ankle cuff.
But, for sleeping, it is warm, thick, cozy, and does the job very well. My girl is a toss-and-turn sleeper, and she was rolling all of her blankies off. This does the trick and keeps her warm all night.

We'd been using Halo sleepsacks since my daughter was born -- at 21 months she started climbing out of her crib so we switched to a toddler bed, and obviously she needed something she could get around in! We switched to the toddler sleepsack. It is still too long for her now at 2 (and 34"), but even with the fabric dragging on the floor between her legs she seems to have no problem walking. She's never fallen! The design seem just right for toddlers: goes on easy, comfy on the legs, stays on all night, keeps her warm. The weight of the fleece is the same as the regular sleepsacks. My only complaint is that they do get somewhat "pilly" and rough-feeling rather quickly.

My grandson is size 2, and the 2-3T runs large, so he can't run around in it, but it is perfect for putting on him when he gets into bed. Just like a blanket but with his feet sticking out. He just can't stay under a blanket.
I think it is the greatest invention for small ones who can't keep their blankets and sheets up over them.
