Rock on! Listen to the music with the HABA Shaker Drum! With this versatile instruments, little sound explorers discover the world of music and tunes. The loudness of the instruments is suitable even for the smallest ones. They will learn to distinguish sounds, develop a feel for rhythm, and train their speech skills in a playful manner.
It all began in 1939 in Bad Rodach, Germany, with finely polished, colorful wooden toys, that were "finely sanded and polished wonderfully smooth, just right for tender children's hands," as the first catalogue emphasized. Today these blocks are still part of our product palate. But the factory for fine wooden toys has been transformed into "the producer of inventive playthings for inquisitive minds."
All products in the HABA range have one thing in common: our attention to detail makes each item special and unique. HABA wants to playfully support children's development, make their lives happier, more exciting, and full of the delight of discovery: to put it simply, to make their world a little more child-friendly.
A wide variety of HABA toys and games have been honored with awards for exceptional design. Since 1993, no fewer than six HABA games received the "Children's game of the Year" award.

Comments about Shaker Drum:
Haba has great toys, this is not one. It is not as pictured but has a large plastic ring attached and two plastic knobs on each drum face. Basically the baby chews on the plastic parts. I would buy other baby toys.
