I bought this because my 6 month old likes the cause and effect toys right now. I thought this would be great since it not only crinkles (his favorite) but it also rattles. It is a good toy and gender neutral. Only con is that there is a squeaky toy inside one of the pieces (purple) and a small rattle in another (orange) and they are extremely quiet and hard to find. The other rattles and crinkle paper are great though. Very simple, soft, colorful toy.

My 4 months old baby loves it! It is soft and very colorful. She snuggles her little worm :)she enjoys playing with it.

My 5-month old adores this toy! It is the perfect size and weight, and dimensions for grabbing, shaking, squeezing, and holding. Each section makes different sounds, the 2 rattle sounds are particularly nice/easy on the ears. Our baby loves to nibble on the nose and antennae while she hugs it.

My oldest is now 8, but we got her the caterpillar when she was a baby. Now that our youngest is here, I've already purchased it again, and it does exactly as described: crinkles, rattles, and squeaks. And with the added vibrant colors we can learn when she's older. Love it!

This seemed like such a simple toy that I wasn't overly impressed until my daughter gave it to her baby brother on the changing table one day. It kept him occupied and stayed (convenient size) on the changing table until the table, not the toy, was outgrown!

I bought this at a rummage and if I'd had known how much my daughter would've loved this I would've bought a brand new one (the crinkle is a little hard to hear, otherwise it's like new.) This will be added to my must-have-items for new Mommys list!

My son has had this since he was born and has always loved it. The colors are bright so he was facinated by it from very early on, especially the bright yellow face. Now he is 10 months old and he loves to swing it around and chew on the tail. They also make a ball version of it, which is also a very nice toy that he enjoys.

Our baby likes this toy however with an almost 2 yr old who loves baseball I have to watch him around the baby with this toy.

I saw such great reviews for this toy, and it was inexpensive so I bought it for my baby girl at about 3 months, but I've been disappointed. She hugs it once in a while, and chews on the green tail, but otherwise, doesn't find it all that interesting. She'd much rather play with something that she can grab and put in her mouth. There are so many other more interactive toys that make the same noises, but also allow her to grab, feel more textures, or practice hand coordination.

My 5 month old absolutely loves this toy. We call it "worm". She loves to play with it in the car seat, snuggle it- it's her favorite toy so far!

My 5 month old loves squeezing it. My 4 year old loved it as a baby as well. It brings instant happiness and comfort.

I gave this toy to my twin baby grandaughter... but it happens that her brother also loves it! So, as a Grandmother of these two four months old babies, I'm getting the second one NOW!!! I've been blessed with 2 pair of twin grandchildren.

This toy worm is the best stuffed animal ever. It is perfect for little hands. My first son received it for Christmas when he was 2 months old. It became his favorite and had to go everywhere he went AND he would not sleep without it for over 3 years. I've run it through the washer & dryer hundreds of times and it still crinkles and stuff! I had to buy 2 extras because we kept misplacing it! He's 4 now and still wants to know where his "old" worm is (buried somewhere in the house). Now he lets his baby brother play with one of the "new" worms. All in all, this toy is extrememly durable.

My 6 month old daughter absolutely loves this caterpillar toy. She chews the head, tail and antennae. She'll reach for this one over others and get upset if she can't find it. It is built very well and is amazingly easy to care for.
