We got this so we could have a base in each of our cars for the SnugRide 30 Car Seat. The base is different than the one that came with our car seat but it does fit without any problems. It is nice that it has a knob you turn to raise up the front of the base so it can be level in your vehicle.

It did not have an indicator on the base to tell you when it is level like the base that came with the car seat but that wasn't an issue. It looked level and I checked it with a level I had.

Very happy with this purchase.
