Comments about Smart Seat All-in-One Car Seat - Jemma:

I love this seat. I just got it today. I almost didnt get it because i saw a few reviews that said that unbuckling the harness was extremely difficult so much so that they thought it would take a nail off. Well to me it is not difficult at all. I read another review that said it was hard to adjust the straps. Its the easiest to adjust of any carseat I have owned. Other carseats I have had a problem with the straps being uneven when I adjust them and even getting tangled and twisted or being hard to pull to adjust. This is so easy not to mention the fact that you never have to undo straps to switch the threading.
You can adjust by height by pulling the seat top up or by pushing up on the clip that goes with the strap hanging on the fron of the seat by the crotch buckle. Then you simply pull the harness to let out more of the strap. SO easy. When I got it, which was super fast like a day and a half from the time I ordered, I pulled it out and it was heavy. Thats is fine because it will stay in the car anyway there is no reason for me to take it out. Then I read the manual cover to cover. Simple stuff. It is easy to install. It install like every other base except that there is a little seat belt lock that locks it in place on the base for extra protection.
I love that it has a little storage area for the LATCH clips if you are not using them instead of them just dangling in the way with like all other seats.
I also love that when you go to booster mode you dont have to remove the straps of the harness it tucks away and easily too I tested it. Just unbutton the seat cover and tuck it into the harness door that easy and the child will never feel it on their back. Perfect!
It is huge but It is fine for me since I have a mini van and she will be in a captains chair behind me. Space isnt a problem (I love my chrysler town and country). I cant name anything bad about it. It is reinforced with still so I love that too (safety). When we had it pulled out of the box my 3 year old said " I dont want my carseat any more I want a new one like this" he sat in in and didnt want to get out! It's so nice I feel a little guilty about the other two car seats that I have for my boys.

The one bad thing is that it is exspensive but I think of it as it costs for the extra safety and comfort so no complaints here. I highly reccomend it. I looked online for seats for 3 days. Read reveiws from all around the web too and looked at different brands. I am glad I got this seat. MOney well spent.

Comments about Smart Seat All-in-One Car Seat - Rosen:

We have this car seat and the Maxi Cosi Air 70. My wife uses this seat in her car (BMW 5-series), and I use the Maxi Cosi in my truck (Ram 1500).

Faced to the back, this car set fits in my wife's car just fine with a 10% or so recline. It installed easily, but there is one thing to look out for - if you have buttons on your seatblet strap (don't ask me what they are for..), the closure that goes over the strap on the base sometimes won't close properly - it takes some monkeying with it to get it to work.

This is also a very heavy car seat, so moving it from car to car is a pain (thankfully I don't do that).

If you are installing it rear-facing in a mid-sized car, the fancy features like recline, etc. won't work just because of the size.

As your child grows, you also have to manually adjust the shoulder straps - they don't move with the headrest until they are in the top slot.

It looks fairly comfortable - when my daughter starts talking I'll ask her about it, but no complaints so far!

Comments about Smart Seat All-in-One Car Seat - Jemma:

Not practical to use with new borns due to weight. Wish Graco would reduce the price on the base by half. With the second base you are looking at a $400 carseat. If you have seats that fold up the nobs on the side will rub when raising and lowering the adjacent seat. This is the sturdiest seat I found.
