Comments about Ready2Grow Classic Connect Duo - Metropolis:

I was maybe too optimistic about this stroller, which is maybe why I feel so disappointed. We looked at this model in a store when we were pregnant with our second and my daughter was nearly 3. We didn't know if we wanted to purchase a double stroller since our daughter likes to walk/run with us, however, after the baby was born and using a carrier while pushing our single stroller I decided we should look more seriously at them.

It's a smooth push, and I like how high the push bar is, I'm 5'7" and its comfortable for me and my husband. Like another reviewer said, I do kick the standing platform nearly everytime I stride, until I can get into a groove and avoid it. It's heavier than our single, obviously, but not unmanageable. I just took it on its maiden voyage, and I was actually looking forward to getting in a good workout walk, and despite the original idea to just have my daughter walk and ride, I put her in the front seat and my son in the back. Big mistake. The stroller says its graded for my daughter, 40" and 35 lbs to be in the front, as she's just under the limit, but the seat is SO small, it seems smaller than the one we tried at the store 6 months (taking into account she's 6 mo bigger, even). And I had to remind her every five minutes to put her legs up on the super tiny foot rest so she would stop stopping the stroller with her feet. She complained of being uncomfortable for the entire 30 minutes, and this girl doesn't complain about anything. So there goes my idea and hope for long comfortable walks. She does like the ride and stand option and on short instances I'm sure wont mind the little seat. Also I didn't realize that when folded up it needs to be lying down, which I don't want it to do in our garage, so it has to be open all the time, and it takes up a lot of space.

Given her love of walking independently most of the time and our children's age differences we weren't willing to spend anymore than this for an occasional and temporary time. We will make it work and find a configuration that works for both kids ( as the 12 different arrangements was a huge selling point). Just beware the seats are small.

Comments about Ready To Grow Duo Stroller - Forecaster:

I loved this stroller when we first bought it. It was great for my then five month old and 2.5 year old. We started the baby in the high seat and when she was big enough moved her to the front seat and my older son to the jump seat. The concept is great, but the quality of this stroller is not. I typically only use it for going to the mall and zoo and have had it for six months. It has become extremely hard to push and squeeks when you turn. It is awful when you are trying to push it around a store.

I am not sure how it compares to other strollers, but it is also very hard to get into my Honda CRV. I can't imagine getting it into a car trunk.

We will be purchasing a new stroller.

Comments about Graco Ready2Grow Classic Connect Duo - Metropolis:

On our first use of this stroller, something bent out of place and the stroller could not be folded at all. We complained of course and Graco shipped us a return label to send it back, but while we were awaiting receipt of the label we used the stroller once more, and going over a bumpy sidewalk made it go back into place. So we ended up not returning it afterall. It's been fine since, but wasn't a great way to start. It is a bit heavy to lift and steer, but it's comparable to others. It's actually fairly compact, and my kids like to experiment with the different seating arrangement choices.

This is exactly what we had in mind when looking for a double stroller. I wish we got it sooner! The only compliant...its hard to get to the basket to store stuff. We have used it at the zoo, Sesame Place, theme parks, etc and both our girls love sitting in all the different spots!

Over all I liked this product but the main problem I have with this product is the foot stand for the front seat. My daughter is taller than the average 2.5 year old but I don not think this foot stand is good for any child. It is too close to the stroller and it is too small. if the child falls asleep their legs would hang off of the foot stand. I have the Graco Travel System and I thought the front seat of this stroller would be compatible to that one. The front seat is also too small, and I mean from front to back the width s perfect.

I like it because it was a double stroller. BUT.... I am a very small person with two kids. And the stroller is soo heavy! And to lift it into a truck and to get it out is such a struggle for me. If I had the box and everything I would've returned it because it is so hard for me to get it out.

I have two children a two year old boy who is 34 lbs. VERY TALL, and a 4 omnth old whose allready 18 lbs. What can i say i make big boys and girls, lol. Anyway this stroller once i set it up which might i add is a piece of cake if you read and do what its telling you, is perfect for your children the seat facing mom is a 5 point harness and my daughter loved it , whined while i put her in but once she was there she couldn't have been happier. My son has yet to get in it but he loves to push it around. Both sets of wheels lock. the back wheels are as easy as doing it with your bare feet , ive done it, because its actually a lever not those small brittle piece on most strollers.
This was by far the only stroller i have ever gotten excited to have in my home that I paid for. It even has a kind of kick stand so you dont have to do the old lock wheels and prob against the wall. Its incredible. I own a mazda 3 sedan and it fits in the truck, with a little space to spare, but this stroller will be used for YEARS and ii mean like 10 YEARS what ever i can get out of it. its amazing!

The stroller holds both my girls comfortably and in many different positions. We have only used it a few times, but it seems to ride smoothly and is pretty easy to maneuver. My biggest complaint is that it's pretty heavy and bulky when folded down so it's basically takes up my whole trunk. When we go on vacation this summer we will probably have to strap it to the top of the car so that everything fits.

I bought this stroller because I needed to be able to go places with my almost 3 year old and my 4 month old sons. I am 5'2" and this stroller is not only attractive but wonderful to manuever and comfortable for my boys. I am so excited about this stroller. I own 2 other single strollers, a jogger and an Eddie Bauer... this one blows them out of the water. I love being able to have my newest addition right in my sight as he faces me and my toddler can watch the sights as he sits comfortably facing forward. As my children grow, the stroller will comfortably accomadate their needs. My toddler will be able to either stand and ride or sit in a belt and my baby will be able to sit in the front and explore. After all of my research, this was the stroller for me!

I use this stroller with several children that I care for. It's great that a toddler can ride in front and also to be able to connect an infant seat. The stoller moves and turns easliy. I've own several double stollers over the years, so far this has been the best!

Love this stroller, this was a great buy, isn't as bulk as most double strollers are, fits in the trunk of my Honda Civic only thing is that I have to remove both the child and adult trays, but is not much of a hassle at all.

This is an awesome stroller for kids 2 years apart or closer. Baby can face mom while the older child has independence. Then, when the older child is ready to use the sit and stand portion, the baby is old enough to face out. I got it for my 3 and 1 year old, and wish I had bought it sooner. I normally push a Baby Jogger double, but I really like this stroller and would definitely buy it again. It pushes much nicer than the Joovy and other Sit and Stands.
