          Comments about NasalClear Nasal Aspirator:

I have a 3 year old and 7 month old twins. With the 3 year old in preschool the babies get sick all the time. We have been using the manual bulb with a lot of success, but they don't like it and they cry a lot. My 3 year old still can't blow her nose and won't let us use the manual bulb. I heard great things about the battery ones so I was anxious to try it.

It just doesn't work. I have tried again and again with my babies and I get very little out. I have followed all of the directions. It is very difficult to get them to stay still and upright for a a long period of time, but even when I am successful at doing that, I still get very little out.

I thought maybe I was doing something wrong so I tried it on myself (I have a cold too). I tried adjusting the angle and position. I left it going for a solid 5 minutes. I still got very little mucus out of my own nose and immediately had to blow my nose after.

This is a very disappointing purchase and just doesn't work.

This device is great, quick and easy to use. Great for infants and toddlers - much easier than the bulb! When you use it for the first time and see the thing full of snots it will make you a proud mama (oh the little things!)

This is a great product. It is significantly more effective than similar products made by competitors. My only complaint is that I have had to replace it twice in two and a half years, but I use it daily on my son.

I have had this product for 2 years and have used it for runny noses and the common booger on my 2 children. It is incredibly effective at removing unwanted nose cloggers, and works even better with a little saline spray. I find it a little annoying to clean because of having to empty and refill the water chamber several times, and have had to replace it twice for corroded batteries when the water finds its way in, but I keep buying it because I love how well it works. Actually about to buy my 4th one.

This gadget is so noisy is scared my infant. I tried the music, but he was so startled by the noise that the music did nothing to distract him. And once I got him used to the noise, it didn't even work very well. Get the Nose Frida instead. That's a far superior product. Don't waste your money on this.

This has been the greatest find to help clear my son's congestion during teething. The music helps keep him calm and you can't get this much out with a manual bulb. The teachers at his school think this is a lifesaver and most of his classmates now have one too. The easiest way to clean it is to turn on the faucet and suck the water through. Makes it less messy to clean.

My daughter got sick at 6 weeks and as a respiratory therapist I suction kids at work and use the bulb sx regularly and am very comfortable using it.But her mucous was too thick for the bulb, so I used this along with saline drops and got tons of mucous. Am convinced that we avoided a hospital stay as she was able to breathe enough to eat even while congested.

Unfortunately it does not suck well enough. (Curious to see if this gets past the censors). I would personally recommend the Babycomfynose aspirator which uses your own suction, therefore it sucks as much as you do. (this is not an insult, just physics).

It got some of the watery stuff out, but nothing more. Just to test that there was more mucus to come out and I wasn't doing it wrong, I used one of those aspirators that use your own suction (uses tissue filters, not as gross as it sounds) and sure enough thick globs of mucus came right out. I am now pretty confident that battery ones don't work very well. Go for the simpler, cheaper intuitive method.

We have tried every battery-powered aspirator on the market hoping that finally maybe the next one would work. They never do because the battery-powered motor just isn't strong enough. Try the ones that use your own suction (sounds gross - works amazingly well) and are the only type we have found that actually work.

i had bought this when my toddler was a newborn, because he would always ALWAYS! have a runny nose or stuffy nose, and the regular nasal pump was to hard and did not work , so i went out and tried this one and aboustley loved it !!! it works great so im know pregnant with my second baby , and just had to buy it again :)!

This is much better than the bulb that came from the hospital and my son seems to like it. It seems to tickle his nose and he thinks its funny but it also tackles the tough boogies.
