Comments about My Ride 65 Convertible Car Seat - Prentis:

My son is 4 months old and before I purchased this carseat I was using a Snugride 35 Graco infant carseat. Which was great, but if you have a fast growing little squirt like me you know those things get mighty heavy and not to mention the straps will only go up so far before thy just won't fit. So, in need of a bigger, but still safe carseat I went in te search for something I could use now up until he was 4 or 5. I love this car seat and I think my little man does, too. He has a lot more room, its padded wonderfully and to me easy to install in your car(all car seats are a pain to install in te car) I will say that this car seat is not small car friendly(I have a Prius) especially for it havin to be rear facing and every once and a while, not a whole lot, I have to tighten the seat veal and the hooks on the carseat, as the it'll get a bit wobbly after a few drives. I think in a larger car this would be easily terminated. On a good note I love this carseat it makes me feel safe and better knowing he has more room to stretch and that I can use this car seat for a long while.

Comments about My Ride 65 Convertible Car Seat - Prentis:

I is use this car seat in my malibu and it works well in the middle of the back seat. it is wide due to the cup holders but it is ok for us due to only having one child in the family and rarely have people riding with us. but if you had two average size people on either side and they would be still a little cramped. I am having a hard time with the buckles but I think it will get better just new and stiff. It is very comfortable for my 1 year old and he loves it. I love that he can sleep in it and he looks comfortable and his head is not bent over like some seats promote. Lots of padding for maxium bottom cushion :) Overall I am very happy with it. And a GREAT PRICE! It is easy to install and easy to move from one vehicle to the other. I LOVE diapers.com!!!

I order this for my 6 month old and LOVE it and I am very picky about what I get. I look and look for the best one and I have found it. Love how when they fall asleep there head has a place to go and not just hanging there like other carseats.

Comments about My Ride 65 Convertible Car Seat - Prentis:

We recently had to switch from our infant carseat to this convertible carseat. We tried 2 previous ones and neither were able to fit in either of our cars rear-facing. This one fits great and was easy to install. Could not be happier with it. The only real con is that it is pretty wide.

Comments about Graco My Ride 65 Convertible Car Seat - Prentis:

We purchased this car seat when our son was born because we wanted one seat that would convert from newborn to toddler. And it was the perfect purchase. Yes it is bulky but very sturdy. We brought our son home from the hospital in this chair and it was the perfect fit, we have a toyota camry.
As he has grown adjusting the belts was easy and it has just enough of an incline so that he can nap while riding without falling forward.

Comments about My Ride 65 Convertible Car Seat - Prentis:

Just got this seat and already love it! Easy to install, and looks very sturdy and like baby will be very comfy. Read a reveiw that stated that the seat looks very bulky, yes it is a bit bulky, but this also tells me that the seat is not flimsy and will hold up better in a crash. We got this seat because not only did it come highly rated for top safety, but is also one of the very few convertable carseats that actually fit not just the weight but height requirment for a newborn baby. As most seats say they start at 5lbs, a baby that small normally don't meet the height requirment. I also love that it is one of the only seats that also rear faces safely until 40lbs, which in my state it is now a law that children remain rear facing until the age of 2. I would recommend this seat to anyone looking to start out with a convertable seat at birth until baby is ready for a high back booster.

Comments about My Ride 65 Convertible Car Seat - Prentis:

I love how this seat looks, ordered it (at an awesome price, thanks diapers.com!) but when it came, I was disappointed. The fabric covering the seat did not secure very well. Called diapers.com, and they exchanged it for me. New seat was a little better with the cover fit, so I tried to fit it in my van. There was NO way it was going to fit rear facing, unless I stowed the middle seats and had the carseat rear facing in the last row of seats. That would have been super in-convienent getting my child in and out. So I'm returning this second seat and am now on a hunt for a convertable that will work for our family.

Comments about My Ride 65 Convertible Car Seat - Prentis:

I like how the carseat installs and it looks nice but compared to our Britax Advocate 70 it's not as comfortable, it sits a little further back (rear facing) than our other one, and the buckles seem more flimsy. It's still a safe carseat but you can tell it isn't as nice as our Britax carseat. We also have issues getting the straps tight enough on our daughter and I'm not sure if it's a carseat limitation or she's just not quite big enough for the careat...which doesn't seem right because she's within the weight range recommended.
