Comments about Graco Sarah Classic Crib - Cinnamon:

We purchased this crib for our second child because our existing crib was the subject of a recall. Knowing it would only be used by one child we were looking for a budget-friendly and safe convertible crib. We were attracted to this model due to its classic and simple style and our misconception that "Graco" was a quality brand.

It was easy to assemble, but also too easy to dis-assemble. The screws came loose with normal use. Double checking and tightening all screws became a weekly chore. The wood and finish became scratched, chipped and damaged easily.

Several days ago we converted it to a toddler bed following the manufacturer's instructions. All parts seemed to be in good working order at that time. The next morning we awoke to find the side stretcher/stabilizer bar had snapped in the night, leaving our toddler in a structurally unsound bed and exposing him to sharp, jagged, spear-like pieces of wood.

All attempts to contact the manufacturer have failed.

Comments about Graco Sarah Classic Crib - Cinnamon:

I bought this for our new baby entering the world sometime the mid-April - Mid - May. Expecting to get a beautiful crib ast a decent price was what I got but not WITHOUT problems. First a placement problem by my front door so I was unable to get out, after that the slew of problems happened. My husband tried putting it togehter but we have one too many parts and not enough parts (three left legs, one right. Can't put that together, can you?). Then, when called LaJobi it's going to take them 7-10 DAYS TO GET IT and then it will take me LONGER to get it. I was not planning to put together a crib at 37w pregnant or maybe even 38. I also bought the changing table along with this crib but I have no idea what it will look like out of box yet. I am hoping we are not missing any parts in this one. The upside? 5 year warranty. But, please be aware this is a common problem. Missing parts, scraped or bent mattress supports. But once together, it's absolutely gorgeous. I am only giving it three stars of the beautiful color it has and how it looks set up (half of it being set up)
