Comments about Good Start Gentle Concentrate - 12.1 oz - 12 pk:

My baby has mild reflux and powdered formula just didn't work for her. She would vomit at least twice a day and many spit ups. Also she was constipated with dull green bm. I started using liquid formula one month ago and she barely has spit up and vomiting. i switch back and forth with the ready to feed ones. It is a lot costly than powder formula, but when you see your baby eating regularly w/o vomiting, it's worth it.

Product is great for my growing 9 month daughter who was breastfed until now - and it's the only formula that she will drink.

Both of my children were breastfed. When it was time to switch to formula Goodstart was my #1 choice. prodcut used be Nestle Goodstart when I used with my 1st child. It is now the same great prodcut through Gerber and I am using it with my 2nd child. Spit up is minimum, no gas, or other tummy issues. I prefer Concentrate over powdered formulas.

We have been using this since our daughters birth in Dec 2011, and used it with our oldest, now 7. Its wonderful!!! My oldest had issues with formula (all forms of Enfamil) until we found this. It made a world of difference. What suprised me was the non-smell of this compared with the foul smell of Enfamil. Its easy on baby's digestion. No worrying about mixing because you just add water. It does not travel easily but I'd rather deal with that because its sterile, which the powder is not.

Comments about Good Start Gentle Concentrate - 12.1 oz - 12 pk:

I've been using Gerber Good Start Gentle Plus from the start. My daughter is now 9 weeks old. She was fed the ready to feed nurser bottles in the hospital with the Gerber nipples that fit the bottles. She was gasey in the hospital but I believe it was from the nipples. I use Playtex bottles and since I've been home with her I haven't had any gas/spit up issues. The only time she has spit up was when she didn't burp or if I jiggled her around too much after feeding. I have also used the powder and she prefers the liquid concentrate. When I gave her a bottle with the powder she would gag...even if it was warmed up. I felt it was more of a hassle to take a powder ball and bottles of water and bottles with me in my diaper bag. And a hassle to make just an additional ounce if she is still hungry. I make the full concentrate box one at a time and dilute it with an equal amount of the Gerber nursery water. It is stored in a BPA free container in the fridge. It lasts for 24 hours which is fine b/c that's what she drinks in a 24 hour period of time...give or take. Sometimes I have to make it up sooner than 24 hours. I've never had any problems with spoiling, staining, spitting up or constipation. It heats up quickly in my bottle warmer. When I'm out and about I fill a bottle and warm it slightly then pop in my diaper bag. It's usually just to go to the doctor or store, so I'm not out long. If it's a longer shopping trip like to the mall, I just use the pre-filled ready to feed nurser bottles. If I'm out at a friend's house for the day then I use the ready to feed cartons that are 8.5 ounces. She is currently eating on average 3 ounces a feeding, so this system works well for me. Once she is drinking more, then a full ready to feed carton would be good when I'm out.

Comments about Good Start Gentle Concentrate - 12.1 oz - 12 pk:

To open you need to tear back the opening at top and can't reseal the box. The size of the box isn't meant for the 4 oz or 8 oz bottles. It can be used to fill up to almost three 8 oz bottles, but must be used within 24 hours of opening and refrigerated immediately or it will go bad so it becomes a problem if you leave your house. You need to discard immediately after feeding unlike the powder. The taste is better than the powder but if your child is already used to the powder they don't notice the difference. It is also heavier to carry around than powder. I also noticed more stains on my white sheets that didn't come out in the wash.
