We have a 2 year old son and have used G Diapers with the cloth inserts for 18 mos. We love them. They are effective, cheap, and they aren't filling the landfills with nasty plastic diapers. We found the biodegradable inserts a little tricky, but the cloth has been great. We never have leaks or messes. They may take a little extra time to wash and fold, but it is worth it. We need to work together as a society to stop throwing so many diapers in landfills.

I read every review out there on every cloth diaper option before deciding on gdiapers and I really am happy with my decision. I love the fit, style, options for both cloth and disposables, and the huge cost savings realized by using cloth diapers. Yes, my gdiapers do leak occasionally but I think my 7 week old is a heavy wetter; the cloth insert is usually soaked when it has leaked. At night, we do use the disposable inserts so that he doesn't wake up when he's wet. We have no issues with diaper rash since he will let you know within 15 minutes if he's wet or soiled. I'm anticipating potty training to be very smooth since he is already very aware of when he's wet and he hates it. The cost savings is huge by using cloth; we just throw the inserts directly in the washing machine after each changing and I usually do one wash a day. I would highly recommend the gDiaper cloth liners for every diaper; it goes right on top of the cloth insert and catches all the poop. You just flush it away and it eliminates having to spray or pre-rinse the cloth inserts; huge time saver! Overall, very pleased with the investment and I don't mind the leaks when I see the cost of disposable diapers :)

Cheaper to buy each of the items individually. Yes it may be cheaper by 2 or 3 dollars but every dollar counts when you're raising a child on one income. And with the offers that diapers.com has (4.00 of gcloths, etc) you can get it WAY cheaper separately. Yes this is convenient, but just go and buy separately.
