I wanted to try out cloth diapers but these aren't the ones for me. They are cute and soft but it's impossible for me to put them on my daughter without them leaving horrible marks on her. The snaps for the liners press into her skin so badly it almost tore her skin. I adjusted the velcro straps several times but I just had to give up after seeing the marks getting worse and worse after each use.

I am new to cloth diapering despite having 2 older children. It's much simpler than I thought it would be, especially with the gDiapers. I love that you can just replace the cloth insert with a clean one and use the cloth cover a couple times before having to wash it. (Unless it gets dirty) With the pocket diapers, you have to wash them after every use, which seems to create much more laundry. The cloth inserts are super soft on my little guys bum, and seem to soak up everything well. I haven't had any leaks, yet. It seems the trick is to make sure the stretchy part at the inner thighs is not loose. These gDiapers are my favorites so far. I love that I can use the disposable inserts instead if I am out, too, and I love the choice of colors. Already saving me money on the tons of disposable diapers I would be going through!

When my baby was born I read TONS of reviews about cloth diapers and a year ago I didn't find many that mentioned G Diapers. I am so glad I tried them on my own because these are by far the best diapers I have ever used! They come in fun colors that can be addicting to buy and the best part is the fit and absorbency with the g inserts. I only have leaks if I leave the diaper on too long and many times I can reuse the liner and just replace the cloth insert. LOVE LOVE LOVE these diapers!!

We have been cloth diapering for almost a year now and we love our g's. We've used multiple brands of cloth diapers and while we have come across some that we do not like, that definitely is not the case for gdiapers. Pure love for them. My favorite use for them is when we're out of the house. They take up almost no room in the diaper bag and you can always use a grefill if you don't want to deal with taking the nasties home. They're super convenient and once you get the hang of them (like any diaper) they're a great fit. My daughter is 11 months and 16 pounds 30 inches and just outgrew her smalls. Pretty safe bet that she will potty train out of mediums. Worth every penny we paid for them and they come in cute prints.

I love gDiapers and buy as many of the colors as i can. Here's a review of some of the plain colored gPants listed above.

Goddess Pink: This is a nice bright pink. Not a hot pink but more of a magenta. It's very pretty and did not turn anything in the wash pink when I washed it.

Goosey Grey: I'd say this is more of a steel color. It's almost blue, but not in a bad way. I use it on my daughter all the time and it works great. :)

Great Orange: This is a classic gColor. Orange is fun and works for either sex. It is very bright! (think construction cone). I like it!

Good Morning Sunshine: This is a very bright yellow. It's not butter yellow. I think it's great for boys or girls, but my sis-in-law says it's more girly.

Groovy Grape: I'd describe this one as a dusty purple. Not deep like the Gooseberry, but not a lavender either. It's pretty cute. I'd say it's more girl oriented.

Grateful Red: This is a warm deep red. It's very pretty and works great for boys and girls. I was scared to wash it the first few times, fearing a big load of pink, but I haven't seen any bleeding. (I wash in cold)

Guppy Green: Another classic! This is a very cute pea green. It's not very bright. I love the fact that it's easily unisex. I really wish gDiapers would make more green colored gPants. Like maybe a hunter or a lime!

Overall, I'm a big fan of gPants. I've never tried the gDiaper inserts. I use mine with regular white prefolds and they work great. I like the way they fit over my daughter's hips like underwear instead around them. They don't have a bunch of extra fabric between the legs or in the butt like some other brands we've tried. They've become a favorite at our house.

I love all the gPants. The Gooseberry is very cute. We've been using ours for a couple of months and it's holding up very well through multiple washings. The g is still as good as new and the color hasn't faded. It looks the same as pictured.

With my first child, I used bulky cloth diapers. The gDiapers are definitely better in terms of trim fit, but I don't care for the design of the pants. 1) Why the heck do they fasten in the back? Every other diaper fastens in the front, and that's because the baby is on her back when you change her! Stupid idea that makes it harder to diaper. 2) The snaps that hold the insert in place leave marks on my daughter's hips. 3) the pant is gappy around the waist. Maybe that's because I don't fasten them tightly because they leave marks on my daughter's legs. I like the flushability of the refills, but I'll probably look for a better pant to put them in.

So far, I like the gdiapers. Please note, however, we use just the shell and the plastic liners. I make all of my own inserts as gdiaper inserts are so $$$$. So, any minor leak I may have had, is probably due to trial and error with the inserts I have been making and testing out.

My daughter is currently under 10 lbs and the smalls fit well. They can be a little bulky, but again, that could be my inserts. She does not seem to be bothered by the diaper at all.

Gdiaper website is a good source for info if there are ever problems.

This diaper is very cute but doesn't fit our baby well. It sits too low so there are lines on her thighs and we often have poop leaking up out of the back of the diaper. The velcro catches on things near it so we have switched to snap style diapers. When washing they seem to clean up well but take longer to dry than the other cloth diapers we have.

Great diaper for first poops as well as when baby starts solids. They can be quickly changed out or reused, which is a nice option. The only problem is the fit after my twin boys reached 12lbs (depending on a slender size). It is hard to stuff and gets bulky (size s). I found that the medium size leaks with my long, slender babies after 13lbs. Hopefully, they will fit at 17lbs?

I love that the inserts used with these are biodegradable and flushable. The cloth inserts are ultra soft too & clean like a dream. If you use the cloth there are covers for the cloth so you can flush away the mess & only rinse the wet.

Unfortunately this is a poor fit for my tall, slim 29 lb toddler. And he takes it off. Might try an XL. For now, I'm saving the L for my second child because I do like the gdiaper.
