gDiapers gWetbag

An out and about solution for toting wet diapers!

Zip it up!

Dirty diapers don't always happen at home. Sometimes they happen in the car. In a restaurant. At a friend's house. And when they do, you'll need a way to tote them home. The wet bag is waterproof, washable and compact, so it will fit nicely inside a diaper bag. Use it for carrying dirty diapers, wet clothes, or even swimsuits when you're on the go. Machine washable.

Love gDiapers, not the wet bag

      Comments about Wetbag:

Let me start by saying we LOVE gDiapers. The brand is excellent, the cloth diapers and disposable inserts are GREAT, their customer service is phenomenal and their general philosophy is very parallel to our own.

However. They haven't quite figured out the wet bag yet. If you have an especially wet diaper, it tends to make the rest of the diaper bag moist. Also, a pooped diaper tends to stink through the bag and through the diaper bag as well. That's something I figured out after returning home from a long day trip and wondering why my car smelled funny.

I've heard that "Kushies" brand has hit the wet bag right on, and we will be purchasing some of those to try as well. For now though, the gDiapers wet bag is a great storage bag in the diaper bag for all of the miscellaneous things you may need for a diaper change on the go. I keep a few disposable inserts, an extra pouch, wipes and diaper cream. It's a makeshift 'diaper clutch' for our family.

      Not worth it

        Comments about Wetbag:

It only holds 2 wet gCloth inserts (M-XL sized). The material is so thin (and only one layer) that moisture seeps through making clean items damp. This is only good for a quick 1-2 hour trip max.

Great at the beginning but only downhill

        Comments about Wetbag:

I used these for my soiled cloth diapers. They worked great at first but in later uses started to get everything damp in my bat. Reminded me a lot of a tent in the ran; it gets touched and moisture seeps through.

        Comments about Wetbag:

I really like the gwet bag. before this, we were always putting wet diapers and clothes into a plastic shopping bag (which i try not to have too many of since i use resuable shopping bags). I like this product for its reusability.

I also bought a second one in which to store my breast pump parts. I was using a plastic bag for that, too, before i got the gwet bag. this is nice, because it zips closed and i can put the parts into the refridgerator for another use later in the day or use it to transport the parts with my pump before or after use/washing.

        Comments about Wetbag:

This wetbag is in our diaper bag, and we use it with our gDiapers. I have to say the only thing great about it is... The zipper closure, and the simple, cute material. There has been times where it has leaked moisture into the diaper bag, sometimes holds smell in, and this material wicks. This wetbag also doesn't hold very many gCloth, or diapers at all. I believe it fills up with just 2-3 diapers. The price does not justify the quality of this wetbag. After a few washes through the washing machine I notices that the zipper lining and material were starting to separate. Don't waste your money. These bags are simple to make, and I'm sure w better quality material! Sure it works for the time being, but I can do without this item. Hopeful that gDiapers can improve this wetbag because I love their gDiapers, but just not this wetbag.

I ordered two of these so one could always be in use while the other was in the wash. They have been so great! So much classier than the ziploc bag we used at first. (Who wants to see a soiled diaper?) These are really handy and I'm sure we will use them for wet bathing suits and such when the seasons change. I haven't noticed any stinkiness escaping from them when they are carrying dirty diapers. We've used them on long outings and they fit several inside if it's just a gDiaper lining but even if the whole thing is soiled you can still fit at least two in each bag.

This has been a great addition to our diaper bag! Couldn't do cloth diapering without it. Even if you're using the gDiaper disposable inserts, you can still use this for any messy liners that may occur when you're out and about. I love mine so much I'm gonna buy two more because I can use them for wet clothes and swimsuits after my baby's not a baby anymore!

          Comments about Wetbag:

Easily holds up to 4 wet cloth liners. Doesn't leak. Contains dampness and smell. Gender neutral. I've seen similar wet bags for $15-$20 so this one is priced lower than most, but I don't know why this isn't priced at like $5 or $6. I would recommend it though based on the fact that it folds up small, has a zipper instead of a stupid drawstring and it's better for the environment than a ziploc bag.

This is about 50¢ worth of fabric and a zipper for an unconscionable price.

Use a plastic ziplock bag! (only wipe it out and reuse it)
