cute as can be on day one and just right for newborns

Newborns are tiny, so at first you'll need specially-sized tiny gPants (6 - 10 lbs). 12 included.  Tiny gPants snap down in front to allow room for the umbilical cord to heal, and a wide leg opening gives plenty of room for newborn legs to curl up. In a few weeks baby will be ready for size small little gPants (fits best from 8 - 14 lbs).  Bundle contains 6.  Size small 100% biodegradable gRefills (included) fit both tiny gPants and small gPants.  Using our plastic-free and elemental chlorine-free diaper system means more comfort and less diaper rash.  You can also use size small gCloth inserts.  Sold separately.

The tiny gPants have our special 'g' word design including many of our favorites: gentle, gorgeous, genuine and more. Two of the small little gPants come with the 'g' word design, along with one red, one blue, one green and one orange.

        About gDiapers

The first new choice in diapers in more than 40 years, gDiapers is the best of cloth and disposable in one earth-friendly diaper. gDiapers provides parents with a diapering solution that is good for babies, and the planet. Parents have the flexibility of a disposable diaper with a 100% biodegradable gRefill or they can opt for reusability of super soft and trim-fitting gCloth. gDiapers are plastic-free, elemental chlorine free, latex free, and perfume free.

gDiapers 100% biodegradable gRefills can be home composted, tossed, or flushed. They are the only certified 100% biodegradable diaper and break down in about 3 months, unlike disposables which can take up to 500 years.  gDiapers are cradle to cradle certified which means that everything that goes into making a biodegradable refill gets reabsorbed by the planet in a neutral or helpful way.  It’s very cool.

gDiapers are a two-part system. The gRefill or gCloth fits into a pair of colorful little gPants. When the gRefill or gCloth is soiled simply remove, replace, and re-use the same Little gPant

Comments about gDiapers gBaby Bundle for Newborns:

I wanted to try out the cloth diaper/disposable system on my baby girl. She was born 7lb14oz and the Newborn diapers NEVER fit her! She was average size- so I'm very disappointed & feel like I was ripped off. I thought the newborn diapers were so cute looking & I really wanted her to wear them, but they just cut into her thigh & left a red mark. I'm now using the regular Small Gdiapers that came with the system, but I am still disappointed about the Newborn diapers that I never got a chance to use.

Comments about gDiapers gBaby Bundle for Newborns:

I have used gDiapers on my baby girl for 3 months now. We tried the tiny's but she seemed too long for them so we never did get the right fit. Other people love them though so I recommend trying them out if you're interested! We used the smalls from the moment her umbilical cord fell off until she moved up to mediums (4 weeks until 3 months). We are now in the mediums. I absolutely love the fit, ease and look of the gDiapers. I have no interest in trying other types out and would absolutely recommend these to anyone wanting to cloth diaper! If you're interested in trying the tiny's, this is a great deal!

Also- there is a facebook group for gDiapers with great information and advice! You can also call gHQ and they have super helpful workers. It is a really great company and product!

a great alternative to traditional disposables. It is a hybrid of washing cloth diapers and tossing disposables. The "HUG" information guide is great! Sizing seems to really adjust to meet your baby's needs. Looking forward to growing with the

Comments about gDiapers gBaby Bundle for Newborns:

If you tuck the material down for the umbilical cord the huge rectangle of velcro scratches you baby's belly up, It also made our baby's umbilical bleed at the bottom..I was not a happy mommy. After her cord fell off we tried using them again, and noticed the bottom corners of the same huge rectangle of velcro were scratching her inner legs. To top it all off I tried to flush the "flushable" insert into my toilet, my sister's toilet, and my mother's toilet and it would not flush in any of them I had to unclog the toilets and dig it out to throw it in the trash. I feel like I wasted [$]. So in short don't waste your money. Inserts don't flush, and even if they did, the diaper scrapes your baby and makes her bleed. Aweful product!

Comments about gDiapers gBaby Bundle for Newborns:

I really like these diapers over all. The first downfall is that newborn diapers only fit my baby for about two weeks, and I think I could have actually gotten by without them. However I did not have a small baby, my son was over eight pounds when he was born.

I bought both the cloth and flushable inserts. I do like having the option since we use both depending on whether we are at home or traveling. The flushable inserts fit into the gpants a littler better than the cloth so they are easier to put in the diaper and are also more absorbent. So we use flushable liners at night and when away from home (for convenience), and cloth liner during the day.

The other downfall is that they have leaked a few times. Mainly at night time though when my son goes several hours without a diaper change. I looked on the gdiaper website though and found a way to double up the liners to increase absorbency and haven't had any problems since then.

Had two packs of small inserts from previous baby that I didn't use, this baby was too small for the "small" pants (8#13oz) I saw these newborn pants online and so far they are easy to use. I got the bundle because eventually I think I'd like to move her to the small size g-diapers before we switch to a diaper service for cloth prefolds.

I like the way you don't have to pull the tiny gpants apart when you wash so that the lining can air dry.

With my first baby I tried every cloth diaper out there, but they were all very bulky and uncomforatble looking. Then I found gdiapers...absolutely fantastic, super cute, and easy to use. I am very much looking forward to using them again with my twin girls who are due any day now. This bundle is a super deal. You should definitely use gdiapers...regular disposables should be outlawed :)

Comments about gDiapers gBaby Bundle for Newborns:

To ecofriendly parents who don't want to pollute the earth with plastic baby diapers:This is the reason we use gdiapers; and I will admit, they are not as easy and absorbent as pampers, or other plastic diapers on the market that take centuries to decompose; yet they do work well and our family highly recommends them. Here is what we do: we use about 8 outters, 12 plastic liners, we buy the disposable paper liners by the case (each one is about $0.30 a pop, comparable to plastic diapers), and we have 8 gcloths, and NOW WE ALSO USE GCLOTH LINERS TO MAKE THE DIAPER CHANGES FASTER AND CLEANER.We use the disposable (paper, can be flushed) liner just at night, at daycare, or when we are not at home; otherwise we use the washable gcloth throughout the day. This used to be a messy affair when the wee one [*], yet not we just put a gcloth liner on top, and peel and flush it during a change. It has a water permeable layer, yet keeps all the poo off of the washable cloth liner. Sometimes, a little poo gets on the edge of the cloth, but usually only the pee gets through. At about $0.08 a pop, this is well worth it. Once the wee one has pooed, we don't need to use the liners for a few changes, so we only end up using 2-3 per day. This saves us from scraping the poo off the cloth liner into the toilet (a nasty affair), it also saves $$$.I like the fact that you can reuse the outter and plastic liner after a pee (and sometimes poo) without having to wash it (only having to wash the cloth inner liner). Fuzzy buns and other "pocket liner" systems require the entire diaper to be washed after each pee or poo episode. The diapers end up not lasting as long. Also, after many many washed, if the velcro gets fuzzies in it and no longer sticks, gdiapers will send you new velcro tabs for free. Nice.I highly recommend this system to everyone... save $ (in the long run) and the earth.

Comments about gDiapers gBaby Bundle for Newborns:

My baby is 4 1/2 months old, and I have been using diapers from the New Baby Bundle since she was about 2 weeks old. I bought this bundle when it was still being sold from [@]. I have seen some comments implying that the Velcro has since been updated; however, I have seen almost no wear on the Velcro sewn on my set of diapers. They are stitched in well and still close securely. (I should note: there was a period when we used disposables while traveling. I am so glad those days are over!)Baby was 7 lb and 20 in at birth, and now weighs 12 lb. The fit has been snug but comfortable, for both newborn and small sizes. I especially appreciated that the newborn pants snap down in the front to avoid irritating her belly button as it healed. I have been careful to follow instructions for use, especially regarding laundering. At first, I had persistent staining. Recently, I switched laundry detergents. I now use ROCKin Green cloth diaper detergent, and the stains have disappeared. I have had problems with the cloth insert wadding up between baby's legs, and that sometimes leads to leaks. That being said, these diapers still leak a lot less than disposable diapers, are trimmer than most cloth diapers, and let her bottom have a little more air circulation. It is wonderful to be able to switch out just the insert when it is wet, or replace the insert and liner. I am able to reuse the same gpants in most cases.I do usually change my baby every 2-3 hours. If you're used to letting your baby wear a disposable diaper, or larger cloth diaper, that might be annoying. But I would rather not let my baby sit in her own excrement for longer than that, anyway. As my daughter has gotten older, and sleeps for longer periods at night, I have found it useful to use a pocket diaper while she is sleeping. These are more absorbent and cover more of her bottom, and so are useful for bedtime.I have been very happy with this product, and am about to buy the next size-up.

This is a great package and still a good deal, but a word of warning, they are still selling the old small Gdiapers, not the ones with improved velcro and such, with this kit, so don't expect to get the newest version of Gdiapers. I was surprised. I had bought some smalls before buying this kit that are the current ones that they sell and there has definitely been some improvements between the two. That said, its still a good deal if you plan to put your newborn into gdiapers, but weigh carefully since they are only in the newborn size for a short time, and you won't be getting the highest quality in the smalls, so you'll probably want to supplement with buying some new small ones, which is an additional cost. The older version is still not bad though, though not sure about how long they will hold up in the washer which was the major complaint against them, and I do plan to use them and it is the only way to get a mix of colors together discounted, not just green and orange. Just take some careful thought about how you'd like to use them.

I started using these diapers at my daughters first birthday. I have no idea how they work with newborns, infants or crawlers but we LOVE them for our walker.
She is small for her age, 17lbs at 12 months. she uses the medium gdiaper with both types of inserts. we use cloth at home and the throw away ones out and about.
the fit is great, did take some getting used to but she loves them. i dont know why we didnt start using them sooner. My husband actually noticed a reduction in diaper spending already( 2 months of use).
I have no way of judging how they would do overnight becuase i choose to use disposible diapers at night, she sleeps a solid 12 hours and has a very full diaper in the am. i dont think the g could handle her overnight.
the one con is that the liners do stain. i also noticed that they leave small (not uncomfortable to her) marks where the snaps lay on her body. nothing major, just a note.
overall, we love them and when we have another baby we will use these from the start. i tell all our friends and famiy to try them.

Comments about gDiapers gBaby Bundle for Newborns:

I decided on using gDiapers on a recommendation from a good friend. I'm so glad I listened. These are fantastic. My 4 day old son has a hydrocele which is pushing his little peanut up to the top of the diaper. When he urinates in the diapers that the hospital provided it would come out the top. The lip on the newborn diapers folds over the top perfectly and keeps the wet in the diaper where it belongs.
I watched the gdiapers video on their website to make sure I used them correctly and they were exceptionally helpful.
He's really comfortable in them and you can tell they put thought into how a newborn sits in a diaper when they created these. The little snaps for holding the diaper down until the cord falls off are genius!
Highly recommend this box to anyone with a baby on the way!

My daughter was born a little over four weeks early, and my husband and I decided to get the newborn bundle. She was just under five pounds when it came in, and they fit her wonderfully. She didn't seem to mind them at all, and it made it so any newborn pants we had for her fit properly. instead of having to buy preemie sized clothes for her butt. The insides DO stain easily, but nobody sees those. The velcro also will pull off if it's not pulled on WITH the fabric it's sewn to. I found that it was just easier to pull the velcro with it, and I only tore one patch of velcro halfway. Wasn't so bad.The value for this is simply amazing. JUST the little gPants would be [$], with the inserts? [$]! You're basically only paying about a dollar a tiny diaper this way. Definitely worth it, especially if you are planning on sticking to the gpants for a while.

Comments about gDiapers gBaby Bundle for Newborns:

I was really excited to start using my gDiapers, however that quickly turned to regret. Although I love cloth diapers, the gDiaper system doesn't work for me.

First - the gcloths are not for use in the tiny g's. I tried using them but had horrible leaks and after talking to the gDiaper customer service they told me not to use them in the tiny's, but in the smalls. This was the first diappointment. Eventhough the biodegradable inserts are better for the environment, they are still wasteful and I did not want to use them exclusively.

Now that I have used them for over a month, I will not be purchasing the next size up because I am truly diappointed in the product. They are incredibly expensive compared to other systems and don't hold up well. I have to change my son every hour if he has on the cloths otherwise he will leak. I can get away with 2 hours if I use the biodegradable ones. Obviously it isn't feasible for me to use these overnight. I'll be sticking with the AIO's from now on.

Comments about gDiapers gBaby Bundle for Newborns:

This is the first time that I have used cloth/hybrid diapers. I love the gDiapers because they have a removable liner so that the entire diaper doesn't need to be washed every time. They are absorbent and I have only had a few leaks. The infant bundle is a great value!

The only reason that I did not rate them with 5 stars is because the liners stain very easily.
