Comments about Disposable Inserts - Sizes S, M/L:

I love love love these in our gDiapers for overnight. They hold so much and wick the moisture away from my daughter's skin perfectly. She sleeps 12 hrs and does not have a single leak with these.

My daughter would break out in rashes with disposable diapers and couldn't have wet cloth against her sensitive skin for 12 plus hours; these are the only things that have worked and I am in love.

I also love the customer service (made up of 20 eco-conscious awesome people) and how eco-friendly they are. Wonderful experience in general with them and their products. Such a great community of gDiapering moms and dads.

My daughter started leaking through the 12 hour diapers in the night time. When we started using gdiapers, I didn't have to worry anymore. Easy to put in, love that you can flush the liners. A+

Took these with me on a weekend hike in the mountains. They held up to my 14 month old 'wiz kid.' I did change him every 3-4 hours to make sure there wern't any leaks. They packed about the same as a typical pampers diaper, but I didn't feel bad burying these out in the woods. Would have hated lugging the extra weight of a pee filled pampers on the trails. Great Product.

We recieved these gRefills as part of a promotion Diapers.com was running. We normally use the gCloth inserts, but I have to say I was very pleased. They hold twice as much as the gCloths so it makes them perfect for night/nap time or to use along with the gCloth insert. I do this most often so that the soft gCloth is still against my sons skin. One thing I have noticed is that these do not bunch up and leak as often like the gCloths. So thats another plus for me.

I bought these for the flushability. I use cloth, but wanted the option of using disposables sometimes. I did not find it really difficult to break these apart and flush them, but after a couple of weeks, they caused a lot of clogging in our toilet and pipes. It finally cleared after we stopped using them for several weeks. So, now when I use them, I don't flush them, which kind of defeats the purpose. I guess they are still more eco-friendly than traditional disposable diapers. They are also really big. Way, way bigger than the gdiaper insert pocket. (But I hated the gdiaper gpants anyway) They fit OK inside the Flip diaper cover.

These flushable refills are OK, but they're messy and not sufficient for overnight use. I have a toddler who has pretty messy poos, and neither the refills nor the cloth gDiapers fully contain the mess, meaning I have to wash several of the waterproof inserts every day. (But disposable diapers always leak on her too.) I'll use them, only because I hate adding diapers to the landfill, but they could be better.

I use the biodegradeable liners when I am traveling and in combo with my cloth liner for nighttime sleeping. They absorb VERY well. They are so easy to dispose of, I either rip it up and put it into the toilet or put it in my composter.

I wish they were a little cheaper, but I just keep a look out for sales.

gDiapers are worth a shot for the eco-friendly purpose and options to use cloth or disposable inserts. But, it is messy. I was hoping flushing the insert would be a great option, but with the need to break open the liner and the insert in the toilet, it's not time friendly. Plus, the double flushing needed probably wasn't too eco-friendly! We did not have many problems with leaks thought, which was great. But it is worthwhile to get extra snap in inserts as every poop resulted in the insert needing to be changed. I think that is to be expected though, it's just good to have extra on hand. We are not using gDiapers as our exclusive diapering system due to the cost and the difficulty in putting the diapers on with the velcro with our squirmy little one. But, I'm glad the option is there!

I really love these inserts! We've been using gDiapers for almost a year with just the cloth inserts and thought about finally giving these ones a shot. We use them at night and they absorb a TON!! Seriously, my little one is a very heavy wetter and we have no issues with these. My only "complaint" would be that they can be a bit tricky to get the sides pulled down and the inner core completely into the toilet. After a few times I think I got it! It's a small price to pay for no more Diaper Genie!!

I think the refills are good. I didn't have as many leaks before but my son is now at 14lbs so he may be at the edge of the weight for the small g refills and that's why the pee leaks onto the gpants. So far it's contained the poop so that's good! I do wish the cost was more comparable to disposables though. I only use these when I'm at home.

This is an eco-friendly diaper that saves the environment, the child, and the parent from unwanted disposables diapers.
Very easy to use and convenient for when out with baby or at home.
Compostable, flushable(check your town's rules), or degrade quicker than a traditional disposable diaper in a landfill. A win-win!

Comments about gDiapers Disposable Inserts - Sizes S, M/L:

We use gRefills occasionally, such as when we need to use a diaper rash cream that isn't safe for cloth diapers or for air travel. They are pretty easy to use and I like the options for disposing of them once used. But, every now and then the paper tears or separates at the edges while it's on our daughter, leaving a mess of goopy gel in her diaper and on her skin. It doesn't seem to cause any irritation and it's fairly easy to wipe off, but still--gross. Also, if her poop isn't fully solid then tearing the insert along the edges is pretty nasty.

The other thing I've found is that if you don't use the swish stick to allow the absorbent gel to fully break down in the water, you're likely to end up with a clogged toilet for a few hours. The good news is that even if you do clog the toilet, it eventually resolves on its own (we learned that the hard way: paid over $150 for a plumber to help us out when patience would have been the cheaper solution!).

The gRefills work with gDiapers and Flips best, but I've also used them in a Blueberry coverall, a Thirsties wrap, and an Econobum cover with some folding and adjusting. If we need them for nighttime, instead of using two refills I put a hemp insert underneath one refill; that keeps the diaper trim but really absorbent without "breaking the bank".

The G diapers work well, my baby seems confortable and looks good in it, the problem I see is that it is messy to dispose, you would have to put them in a plastic bag.

The flushing recommendation is too messy, because it is hard to peel off the filler cover.

They are as good as my favourite regular disposable diapers but much cuter and better for the environment. I've been using then since my baby was 5 months and she is now 16 months. I use them during the day as well as at night. No leaks.

I have another baby on the way and will be using them from day 1
