      • gDiapers Biodegradable gRefills

Parents can breathe easy using biodegradable gRefills inside reusable Little gPants. gDiapers are the only diaper to be certified 100% biodegradable. They’re breathable, which means babies are far less likely to get diaper rash.

There are three options for disposal: flush, compost or toss. Because gRefills are plastic-free they break down quickly, unlike disposables, which can take 500 years to break down. gRefills are certified Cradle to Cradle, which means everything that goes into a gRefill will be reabsorbed into the eco-system in a neutral or beneficial way.

Available in size small and medium/large. Size small includes 40 biodegradable gRefills.  Medium/large includes 32 biodegradable gRefills.

        About gDiapers

The first new choice in diapers in more than 40 years, gDiapers is the best of cloth and disposable in one earth-friendly diaper. gDiapers provides parents with a diapering solution that is good for babies, parents and the planet. Parents have the flexibility of a disposable diaper with a 100% biodegradable gRefill or they can opt for reusability of super soft and trim-fitting gCloth. gDiapers are plastic-free, elemental chlorine free, latex free, and perfume free.

gDiapers biodegradable gRefills can be home composted, tossed, or flushed. They are the only certified 100% biodegradable diaper and break down in about 3 months, unlike disposables which can take up to 500 years.

gDiapers are a two-part system. The gRefill or gCloth fits into a pair of colorful Little gPants. When the gRefill or gCloth is soiled simply remove, replace, and re-use the same Little gPant.

Comments about gDiapers Biodegradable gRefills - Sizes S, M/L:

I really love these inserts! We've been using gDiapers for almost a year with just the cloth inserts and thought about finally giving these ones a shot. We use them at night and they absorb a TON!! Seriously, my little one is a very heavy wetter and we have no issues with these. My only "complaint" would be that they can be a bit tricky to get the sides pulled down and the inner core completely into the toilet. After a few times I think I got it! It's a small price to pay for no more Diaper Genie!!

Comments about gDiapers Biodegradable gRefills - Sizes S, M/L:

I think the refills are good. I didn't have as many leaks before but my son is now at 14lbs so he may be at the edge of the weight for the small g refills and that's why the pee leaks onto the gpants. So far it's contained the poop so that's good! I do wish the cost was more comparable to disposables though. I only use these when I'm at home.

This is an eco-friendly diaper that saves the environment, the child, and the parent from unwanted disposables diapers.
Very easy to use and convenient for when out with baby or at home.
Compostable, flushable(check your town's rules), or degrade quicker than a traditional disposable diaper in a landfill. A win-win!

Comments about gDiapers Biodegradable gRefills - Sizes S, M/L:

We use gRefills occasionally, such as when we need to use a diaper rash cream that isn't safe for cloth diapers or for air travel. They are pretty easy to use and I like the options for disposing of them once used. But, every now and then the paper tears or separates at the edges while it's on our daughter, leaving a mess of goopy gel in her diaper and on her skin. It doesn't seem to cause any irritation and it's fairly easy to wipe off, but still--gross. Also, if her poop isn't fully solid then tearing the insert along the edges is pretty nasty.

The other thing I've found is that if you don't use the swish stick to allow the absorbent gel to fully break down in the water, you're likely to end up with a clogged toilet for a few hours. The good news is that even if you do clog the toilet, it eventually resolves on its own (we learned that the hard way: paid over $150 for a plumber to help us out when patience would have been the cheaper solution!).

The gRefills work with gDiapers and Flips best, but I've also used them in a Blueberry coverall, a Thirsties wrap, and an Econobum cover with some folding and adjusting. If we need them for nighttime, instead of using two refills I put a hemp insert underneath one refill; that keeps the diaper trim but really absorbent without "breaking the bank".

Comments about gDiapers Biodegradable gRefills - Sizes S, M/L:

The G diapers work well, my baby seems confortable and looks good in it, the problem I see is that it is messy to dispose, you would have to put them in a plastic bag.

The flushing recommendation is too messy, because it is hard to peel off the filler cover.

They are as good as my favourite regular disposable diapers but much cuter and better for the environment. I've been using then since my baby was 5 months and she is now 16 months. I use them during the day as well as at night. No leaks.

I have another baby on the way and will be using them from day 1

I love the fact that I can diaper my baby and not add to the eco footprint my family leaves. It takes time to adjust to being half awake and changing a gdiaper, but worth it. They recommend to keep 1 set up at all times so you just switch diapers. I immediately fill the old one with a new insert, even when we're out and about. I am also looking forward to this summer when he can run around in nothing but a diaper and can show it off.

I use this insert with my flip diaper cover and it fits awesome. It fills up all of the cover, containing all but the messiest of a blowout [*]. I still use a flushable liner with this insert since I am still not comfortable flushing something this big down my toilet. I haven't had a leak with this insert. My only complaint is that they are expensive. Flip inserts are much more affordable.

Very disappointed. I was enthusiastic about these diapers because they were biodegradable and good to the planet and all that, so I decided to invest in these diapers, which is about 3 times more than I would expend otherwise.
Bad surprise, it leaks pee and poop, everything gets soiled, especially at night, and I have to end up washing everything after a couple of hours.
Very bad G diapers, I feel I lost my money~!

It's nice to have a third option with diapering. The disposable inserts can be composted (pee only) or flushed if you're opposed to throwing them in the trash. It's also nice that the covers aren't as "special treatment" as so many cloth diapers and covers are.
