This was a last minute purchase before a camping trip in the heat of July. My 2 year old drinks milk all day long and I knew I needed something insulated for the trip. I was amazed at how well it worked. Left it in the direct sun for about an hour accidentally. I went to go poor out the milk and found that it was still super cold. Worth the extra money... Buy it!

We own all of the stainless steel foogo sippys because we are anti-plastic and didn't want the risk of leaching chemicals in our baby's liquids. I'd say that this cup is great now that our toddler is 2 but the sippy with handles was better when he was younger. The main difference is the hardness of the spouts. The yellow spout is soft for teething children and the blue spout is hard. Our son didn't like the hard spout until he was about 18 mos. Before that he preferred the softer yellow spout. There are 3 parts to this cup's spout and they are initially intimidating to put together correctly but once mastered they are pretty much leak-proof. They are pretty easy to clean but it is kind of a pain to clean every little nook and cranny every time so I have a tendency to rinse them between uses and only wash them with soap once a day. Overall I'd say these are definitely worth the price and we haven't had any major accidental spills with any foogo sippy's in the year or so we've been using them. I'm about to buy a kleen kanteen just for a change...hope it's as good!
