I love these diapers! I put a lot of time into researching cloth diapers before my daughter was born, weighing out the pros and cons. I decided on the Flip diapers for the concept and the price!!! I loved having the cover and insert separate and not one whole unit. It makes changing and laundering a lot easier. I started my daughter at about a month old and then she was fitting in them really well. I have not had any issues with them not washing up properly. I mean every once and a while I get some poop stains but that is bound to happen and the website says to bleach them every once in a while, which does the trick. Once it is nice out I will let the sun do it job on them! My one complaint would be the bulkiness but that is just what happens when you do cloth and it is SO worth it!! I have found it to make my life so much more simpler... I do not have to pay for diapers, I have far less blowouts than I do with disposable (if they ever blowout it is like a tiny bit and not a huge mess), my daughter rarely has rashes (I can only think of a few times that their was chafing but thats when I would let her go to long without a change). People's hold backs on doing cloth are laundry and price. Laundry has not been an issue! The part I hate most about laundry is folding which you don't do with the diapers so it is not a big deal! I just throw them in a heavy wash and then put them in a timed dry for 60 min and good to go. As far as price... yes it may seem like a lot at first but totally worth it! If it is really an issue... as for them for birthdays or Christmas :-) I have 4 day packs (8 covers, 24 inserts) and that gets me through two days (so I am doing laundry every other day with them). I personally think I want a few more just to make washing a little easier. But 4 is definitely plenty! Also, I store the diapers after use in a 5 gallon bucket with a Gamma Seal Lid (can get them on[@]) and just let them soak! Works great!!

I used the newborn gdiaper bundle pack when my LO was first born, but at 7 weeks moved him into the Flips- I love them! I use the Flip Stay Dry inserts at home and the gdiaper disposable inserts when we're out for the day. Every once in a while at night the cloth inserts will bunch up on him and if that happens the pee will go right through the diaper. But that's only happened a couple of times- in general they are very absorbent and very easy to manage. We can get through quite a few changes without cleaning the outer diapers, just replacing the inserts. And they are easy to pre-stuff or to replace the insert right on the changing table. I'm a big fan!

The Flip diapers have been working great for us. They hold in what would have been blow-outs with disposables. They wash well and I dry them in the sun to get the inserts back to bright white. I'm using the stay-dry inserts now, but will try the disposable inserts for times it may be more difficult to cloth diaper.

I am a convert from G-diapers (that leaked ALL the time) to the Flip system. Starting off with cloth diapering, I purchased some used pre-folds and was in need of good diaper covers to use with them. Flip diaper covers are awesome because they don't leak, they wash well, and you don't need to buy more sizes every few months. I'd highly recommend their stay-dry inserts, which are more than double the size of G-diaper cloth inserts. I've also had a good experience with the Flip disposable liners, a nice option when we're out and about with baby.

These have the same concept of the gdiapers but at a quarter of the price. I use this as my spare cloth diaper (when the rest our in the wash) If you want a quality cloth diaper bumgenius and fuzzibunz are the way to go.

FABULOUS product. the covers stay clean most of the time, so you're only washing the inserts. the laundry is totally manageable. the inserts wash and dry so easily. works great. ONLY WAY TO GO WITH CLOTH DIAPERS. LOVE THESE.

These are the only cloth diapers I have ever tried. I haven't had any problems. Very absorbent, and nothing (!) has ever leaked out of the cover.One thing I don't like is that I have to change the cover with every #2 diaper, simply because my breastfed baby's [*]s aren't solid enough to stay on the liner. I'm sure this would be the case with any cloth diaper.If you are deciding about cloth diapers in general, realize you have to touch [*], and a lot of it. If you can afford disposable, do it.
