Bought this for my one-year-old after I had to return another brand which was completely out of tune. This one has only one key that is out of tune, which, while an improvement, is still a little annoying, as the point of a musical instrument is to be musical. It also has a string that attaches the mallet to the xylophone to keep from losing it, but it is about a foot too short to be able to use it on the xylophone, so I had to cut it off before my son could even use it the first time. Probably would have sent this one back as well, but it wasn't worth the hassle of shipping it back and reordering a third xylophone.
