My son is two and has had this in his crib since he was about 5 mos old. He likes it a lot and we even bought one for his crib at his grandparents' house. In his 'big boy' bed, we have it attached to the guard rail and he uses it nightly.... when it works. For the last year it seems to have a shorter and shorter lifespan. The batteries need to be replaced frequently and even then, it dies every 3-5 weeks.

I plan on buying another for baby #2 soon to arrive because I think it's worth the cost. The fact that it's soothing to a child trying to sleep outweighs the battery issue but it's frustrating nonetheless as it's not the easiest thing to install and remove.

Let me say this: I think it's entertaining, and my 3 and a half month old seems to like it when it's on, however- putting it on the crib was absolutely ridiculous. The green straps that you're supposed to latch on to the hooky thing in the back is VERY difficult to get on. My husband, the very handy man of the household even had a tough time getting it on. Then- after you've gone through the trouble to get it attached to the crib...it blocks the area you put the batteries in so you'll have to do that process all over again. there could have been a better design.

It's nice, the music is great. Without lights it plays for a long time, but turn on the lights and it goes out after 5 minutes. It was nice at first, but after about 2 weeks, one of the critters started creaking when they move. It's kind of annoying to me, but my baby doesn't seem bothered by it. He really likes the soother.

I've had this toy in my son's crib since he was about 4 months old.

He likes to look at it, but it doesn't do too much for the price. It seems very bright and I wish there were a dimmer setting on it because it is pretty blinding when he turns it on in the dark.

He likes it, though, so I guess it must be okay.

My daughter is only one month old and is already fascinated by this soother. The combination of the music, lights and movements grab and keep her attention. It is perfect for her developing eyesight and focus. I carry this around with me and have used it with her bassinet, crib, and pack-and-play. Using this allows me to put her down while she's still awake - it keeps her content until she drifts off. I must say it works on me as well!

We LOVE this mobile!! Since our preemie was born he's been falling asleep to it. He's 5 months old now and when he's playing in the crib, he LOVES to turn it on and off with his foot or hand. He's so excited that he can do this. Eventually, he gets tired and falls asleep. LOL! He also wakes himself up with it sometimes but its ok because he'll just fall right back to sleep in a matter of minutes. IT's so cute and so funny once they realize they don't need you to turn it on and off anymore. When he wakes up its the forst thing he does! I HIGHLY recommend this product. If you stop the animals from moving the music lasts longer too so you don't have to keep pressing the button when they're smaller.

The sounds and appearance are nice, but my 10-month-old wants to play with some of the moving objects and gets frustrated that he can't. When he was younger it was too stimulating for him, and now it is too frustrating. I would like a crib toy that would entertain him until he fell back to sleep, or so that when he wakes up at 5 AM he could keep himself happy for at least 30 minutes. The old Ocean Wonders Aquarium at least had a ball to spin and a lever to manipulate. This has nothing.

This was definitely one of our best buys. Our son loved the lights, and he is still using it. It sang him to sleep, but he also loved the night noise with crickets. The only problem was that once he could move around in his crib, he would sometimes hit the monkey and it would turn on and startle him awake. So if we leave it on to get him to sleep, we have to sneak in later and turn the switch off so he doesn't hit it in the middle of the night and wake himself up. But it's one of our favorites

We have had this since my son was 3 months old. He absolutely loves it, he is 7 months now and sometimes in the middle of the night when he wakes up he turns it on himself, it is so cute. I wish this was around when I had my other two children.

My son loves this waterfall soother. I put it on in his crib and he will fall asleep watching the lights and listening to the music or nature sounds. It holds his attention very well. I don't know what I would do without this!

My 3 month old daughter LOVES her Monkey to sing her to sleep. We have had it in her crib since the day we brought her home and there is no other way for her to go to sleep. I just wish it played a bit longer!

I have 4 month old twins, and they love this. Before this product, they would usually only fall asleep in someone's arms. Now, I put them in their crib at night, I turn on the soother and they are asleep within 10 minutes. I only bought one to test it out and make sure they like it, but I am definitely going to buy one more. It is very calming and soothing.

My baby now sleeps without rocking! She enjoys watching the show and falls asleep. Her twin brother on the other hand, doesn't go to sleep immediately but keeps quite for a long period of time!!!

I just adore the Rainforest series. I wish it had been out at the time of my baby shower! This toy is wonderful. The nature sounds are so soothing that my 6 wk old daughter falls alseep cooing.
