Comments about Precious Planet Space Saver Swing and Seat:

My son loves falling asleep in this swing.

      Pros?
      1. My son enjoys and is soothed by it!
      2. We love that it's so small (most swings are quite bulky) since we live in an apartment and don't have a whole lot of extra space.
      3. The music varies and is not overly obnoxious. In fact, it's the same music as the Fisher Price floor play gym mat thing.

      Complaints?
      1. My son is just over a month old and his head has always gone to a strange angle because there is no head support. To fix this, we roll up a blanket and put it on the side he favors which seems to help.
      2. The 2 little animals hanging from the leaf seem to just get in the way, but maybe my son will enjoy those more as his eyes get better. As it is now, every time we put him in or take him out of the swing, we have to be careful not to wack him in the head with the hard plastic animals. Pro? You can easily just take this part off and do without.
      3. Be aware that the music does stop itself after maybe 15 minutes or so but the swinging continues. I've seen some say that their baby wakes up as soon as this happens but my son doesn't seem to care as long as it keeps swinging.

I'd seen on another site someone complaining that the lowest speed seemed too fast for newborns. I worried about this at first too, but my husband looked at it and told me I was being silly so we gave it a shot. He doesn't seem in the least bothered or harmed by the swing speed. I'd maybe just recommend keeping it on one of the two lowest settings while they're under 1 - 2 months or so though.

Also had seen a complaint about the seat seeming to be very uncomfortable - doesn't seem to bother my baby whatsoever.

And that's it so far! We've been using it only for about two weeks to be fair but so far so good.
