The option of continuous music play is great. In addition, two small animals that light up on this toy, giving child something more to focus on and engage with. Keys are soft and responsive to light touches and durable enough when "kicked". My 6-month of old started using this toy at only 3-months of age and 6 months later still uses it and loves it like if it was a new toy. Great for travel. Toy is very light weight and easily props up against back rest of car when she is in her car seat.

my baby loves this piano: she started to play with it about two months ago, and now she's six months old and she spends a lot of time playing with it. We tried to tie it to the crib so she could kick it and play with her feet, but it never worked well (that's why I'm rating with 4 starts instead of 5). as soon as we tried to put it on the floor, she immediately showed a lot of interest: she loves the sound (not too loud...) and the lights (not too bright!).

I bought this for my 8 month old hoping he could step on it as he loves walking around with help. Unfortunately it's too small for that purpose. However, it is cute.

My son is 3 months old and loves kicking. This kick piano is perfect, he just lights up when the music and lights go as he kicks. Only Con is how quiet the music is.

My daughter has enjoyed this toy for the last 4 months. It's nice, but the music is extremely faint, even turned up as loud as it goes. I've tried changing the batteries, thinking maybe they were just old, but the music is still way too quiet.

My six month old loves this toy, especially at night when he is laying in his crib kicking it and he can really see the animals light up.

My daughter loves her kick and play piano. It keeps her entertained in her crib while I get ready. It can easily be removed if needed and has an on/off switch to prevent midnight piano recitals. I am glad I bought this.

I bought this elsewhere, but actually still keep it out for my toddler to step on. I think it's one of the better first toys in general, and a great first piano. Only downside is the fabric can get dirty, but nothing a little scrub brush can't fix. I highly recommend it as a gift that can be used for newborns, infants and toddlers.
