I am so glad i got this product.You can choose between the lullaby tunes or ocean sounds which simulate womb sounds so it is very soothing to babies. It projects an image that is very engaging to babies eyes. Has two different scenes one for smaller babies one for older babies. My twins are 8 months old now and I still use this sometimes. I would say it is best for babies 0-5 months. I couldn't have done without this product in the early months of twin motherhood!

My mother bought this for our baby girl and she LOVES it!! We use it every night for her to go to bed, plus we take it on car trips and it helps her to take naps in the car and to fall asleep at different places. Would recommend to everyone!

This product was a little disappointing. We got it expecting that the projected image would rotate or move or something to make it more interesting than just a large nightlight. It doesn't. The projected image is stationary (although there are 2) so it gets dull to look at very quickly, assuming your baby even notices it in the first place (mine didn't). But if all you're looking for is a nightlight that turns itself off and plays music, this may work for you. It's a little loud (even on the low setting) but we just propped it up against a blanket to muffle the speaker and it worked out just fine. It is wonderfully portable so it's great for car trips. Honestly the Fisher-Price Precious Planet 2-in-1 Projection Mobile turned out to be just what we were looking for. I'd recommend that one instead.

I have been using this "star" to help my son fall asleep since birth. It's a great way to get him to wind down and gives him something to focus on while dozing off. The small size is great for portability. It was a must have when we would go to my sisters' or mom's for dinner and put him to bed in the pack and play...it was like he didn't even know he was away from home.

I was hoping this would replace a music box we had that broke. But, the sound and music is very low quality and too loud. It would be a fun toy for a one or two year old, as its easily portable, but as a soother it really does a poor job.

I used this for the first time tonight and my daughter seems to really like it. I think the best thing about it though, is that we also have the Fisher Price Aquarium baby swing and one of the ocean noises that this projector plays is the same as her favorite noise on her swing. Didn't know that when I bought this but it is a huge plus. Only downside I can see is that even the more quiet of the 2 settings is still quite loud. Doesn't seem to bother my daughter but to me it should be quieter.
