Our daughter (4 months) loves this little guy! It was perfect when we went out of town and couldn't bring her mobile. The nightlight and songs helped her go to sleep. The only negative was that our dog loved it too - luckily we rescued the toy before too much damage was done - and it was easy to clean.

This is a wonderful sleep aid. My daughter loves this because she loves sea creatures, and it helps her because she's scared of the dark. I gave it 4 stars because the batteries die very quick. The batteries died after about a week of being used.

This isn't the type of product I would've purchased for my son myself, but I'm so glad we received it as a gift from his uncle! The music is soothing (with adjustable volume inside the body of the seahorse) and the glow is just right -- not too bright, not too dim. It's also nice that the music and light fade in and out. The battery life is also good. At first we used the seahorse to establish when it was time to sleep, and now it's a part of our regular bedtime routine. We love it!

This is my first product review, but I am so thrilled with this product that I wanted to share my experience!
My toddler (he's two years and three months old) has started to experience really bad nightmares, sometimes several times a night, and has been very distraught and difficult to re-settle. He has always slept in the dark since he was an infant, but now he has started to complain that it's too dark when he sleeps.
So, I thought I'd try this product, and the change was instant! He LOVES cuddling the seahorse and is lulled to sleep holding it, as it plays soothing tunes. He turns it on at night sometimes (we hear it on the baby monitor!), and he falls back to sleep himself.
I HIGHLY recommend this, especially for toddlers with nightmares, but I wish I had bought it when my son was younger. He probably would have loved it then too, but I just didn't think about it then.

I keep this seahorse in my daughter's crib (she's now almost 4 months and has loved the seahorse from about 6 weeks on) to keep her company when she's having a hard night. The soft glow isn't too bright, and the music selection is soothing and not annoying to the parent. I also like the loop time of the music, maybe around 5 minutes? It's perfect to calm her, and get her back to sleep, but then doesn't play too long. Also, between songs there is a nice little bubble sound. It also fades in and out (both the light and the music) so there are no abrupt stops. For the price it is a fantastic purchase! I'm planning on using this as a shower gift for all new moms!
