Used it at night and for naps. After 3 months it just died. Swing wont swing but music plays. I bought it because it plugged in but now I have no use for it and am out a lot of money! Very disappointed!!!!

My LO spends a few hours a day in her swing. She would stay it in it longer than that, it's just I start feeling guilty. I like so many features about this swing. Its comfy, it reclines, smooth swinging motion, rotates, different speeds, music, volumes for music... the list goes on. The only negative thing I can say is it can be bulky.

My baby takes nap in the swing several times and shenever did that with the previius swing we had (graco). This swing is also much more quiet than the graco one that we return. The seat reclines back and the baby looks comfy in it.

I set the swing up by myself and it took about 30 minutes. You will need an extra hand at the very end for someone to hold the swing in midair while you screw it on the base.
The only issue I had was that the mirror ball that clicks into the top is made of very cheap plastic and one of the tabs was broken. Luckily 2 out of 3 unbroken tabs was enough to pop it in place. I plan to dissasemble and store in original box for my next child, and it seems like it will be easy to do.
The swing is very quiet on even the fastest setting. The minky fabric on the seat is so soft. The base is sturdy. And of course the AC adapter is why i purchased this version. I am very happy with this swing overall and i know it will suit my baby well. It is bulky, but I knew that before i purchased it and planned to accomidate space for it knowing it will be worth it.

My eight-week-old daughter would sleep in this all day long if we let her - my husband and I joke that it's like she's floating in a cloud! Assembly wasn't difficult, and though it has a slightly large footprint it fits fine in our family room. The fact that it can swing in different directions is fabulous because sometimes my daughter can look out the patio windows and sometimes she can swing facing the room. The only drawback for us (which is why not 5 stars) is that the safety harness straps are short, meaning that we're not sure if she'll be able to use it for as long as we're hoping. I think she'll outgrow it by 6 or 7 months.

This product is excellent and is a must-have. It soothes baby. It is also safe, with a 5 point harness. Started using it when my baby was 1 month old, and I can't do without it!!! Was considering getting the Mammaroo's...but decided against Mammaroo because that product does not have a harness, and because prior reviews suggest that babies may only like some of the settings anyway. This swing is just fine because babies like the simple side to side or back and forth. For anything fancier, I can simply pick baby up and do the motion myself.

This product paid for itself upon the first use, as it soothes and quiets my fussy child. First of all, it is considerably cheaper to purchase from Diapers.com, especially if you have a promo code. Look at other stores and this is easily $10 - $30 more. This products has a lot of great functionality (speeds, direction, sounds, etc.) with an intuitive control panel. Also, the entire lining is removable and machine washable. Only con - it makes a creaking noise when swinging. However, it only seems to bother me and not the baby.

I love this swing! This is my second Fisher Price swing and have been happy with both. I had the first one for my daughter and used it alot until she was about 4 months old. Started using it with my son when he was a week old and the motor gave out after 4 weeks; but I bought another and am very happy. He loves to take short naps in it and is content upon waking which gives me time to do things around the house. It is also a huge help when the family sits down to dinner. We know we have a good hour where he is happy and we can finish preparing dinner and eat as a family. I have seen reviews where people are unhappy when the motor gives out, but considering how many hours use I got before that happened to me I am happy with the product overall. Love how this newer model plugs into the wall so no batteries needed. A big plus.

This swing has been great. Many options to soothe a crying baby. And a great feature is the ability to plug in the swing to avoid costly batteries! You can rotate the swing from a side to side swing to a back and forth swing. Plays noise and also has a rotating mirror/mobile! A must have for your newborn!

Loved the swing! My daughter slept in it every night! She would fall asleep fast and sleep for hours at a time. But within a couple of months the motor just stopped working!! Everything else works still (the music and mobile) but it just stopped swinging! Very disappointed :(

This swing is great because you dont need batteries with it. the only poor things about it are the size its very large so its hard to store when not in use.

Until this swing arrived, my son would almost exclusively nap on me. While I love to snuggle with him, I was unable to move for hours at a time! A friend who has been using this swing from the time her son was a newborn until now (he is now 6 months old) recommended this product. My son is now taking three to four naps a day ranging from an hour to three hours. He is much happier now that he is well rested:)

The only cons are that the music has to be restarted every 20 minutes or so and the plug isn't as long as I would like it to be. BUT, I could care less about these things!

When my daughter was 3mo, I was holding her 24/7 as she wasn't mobile yet and her bouncer seat was too steep, she would slide down and squish in a ball. I read alot of mamas say that a swing was their lifesaver and baby slept great in them. After alot of research I decided the snugabunny was my best shot. And I was right! It's perfect! We've had it since she was 3mo and now she is 5mo. She is old enough and mobile so she doesn't like to just sit in it, though I'm sure if we had it when she was a newborn she would have used it alot more. But now it's perfect for when she starts to get fussy from being tired, I put her in it and she falls asleep within 5min. And she sleeps a good hour at a time. I have it set in the living room so she sleeps and I can clean or relax on the couch with her in sight. It's not completely quiet, but I didn't find reviews for a swing that was. However, with the tv on I dont hear it and it's quiet enough that it doesn't wake her. I dont use the music function often, but the choices are soothing. The papasan design snuggles her perfectly and the fabric is super soft. It's too big to move from one room to the next, but I plug it in so I dont need batteries, so stationary is fine with me. Oh and the little birds up above and the mirror really catch her attention. I find her staring up smiling quite often right before she falls asleep. I'm glad I bought this swing and will surely get alot of use out of it with future children.
