I'm usually pretty handy putting things together, but this thing is a nightmare. The frame looks like it is one piece, but is actually 3. No amount of tightening the connectors has made this thing sturdy - the connectors wobble. To attach the 'giraffe bar' requires a skinny screwdriver, which I had to buy because the one I had, which has multiple interchangable heads and is pretty standard, was too big to fit in the hole the screw recesses into. The material on the seat feels cheap and makes a crinkly sound. The toys that swing are really hard material so if your child doesn't get out of its way, they get hit with hard plastic. Along the child's lower back, running from side to side, is a strap (or perhaps part of the harness? it's not visible) that digs into their lower back. My 4 month daughter usually loves a bouncy seat (she LOVES her Bjorn, sleeps in it due to reflux), but she hates this chair and I can't say I blame her. Even the bounce is off - it isn't rhythmic - she's had a few 'startle' responses in it. I wanted this as a cheaper alternative to leave at grandma's so I wouldn't have to buy another $$$ Bjorn or drag my existing Bjorn back and forth. This thing is going back - it's horrible.

This chair is ideal for our situation. We have a small living room and this does not take up too much space. It doubles as a play area as well as a rest/napping place. My baby finds it very entertaining, and the batteries last quite a while. Easey to transport (lightweight).

My baby has spent almost every day in this! It allows baby to see around the room and view parents, etc - which allows for great interaction such as reading and singing together. When I need to grab something to eat, I simply put the toy bar on to entertain baby for a few minutes, and baby is quite happy. It's also super easy to clean - just toss cover in washer and dryer, and no shrinkage. We are very pleased with this purchase.
