My son loves it, but it does it's own thing. It cuts itself on and off, and doesn't complete the songs, It maybe extra sensitive to the touch or I got a bad one

Comments about Laugh & Learn Love to Play Puppy:

My 7 month old really isn't too interested in it. Plus it is really LOUD. The buttons are really sensitive like someone else mentioned, so it turns on and off every time baby moves. Plus it is too big for her. She can't reach the ears if she is holding it in her lap. It would be better for a bigger kid. I'm just not impressed.

I got this toy for my then 6 month old son and he adores it! He gets excited we i bring it out for him. It sings three of his favorite songs so it's great when i do house work and he wants to play. Its buttons are sencitive which makes it easier for him to entertain himself. The downside is thats its sencitive so becareful when you need it quiet that you don't press the foot.

Comments about Laugh & Learn Love to Play Puppy:

My son got this as a present at 4 months old. It didn't hold his interest then and at 6 months it still doesn't. I have to admit I'm glad because it has possibly the most annoying voice ever.

I'm not sure why my son doesn't like it... maybe because he's more interested in MOVING around right now and less interested in sitting playing with one thing. Or more likely because I do all things this puppy does (sing him songs, say the alphabet, tell him I love him) only BETTER. ;-)

Anyway, I can't recommend this. He was also given the Leap Frog My Pal Scout as a gift recently and it's a similar product but cuter, way less annoying, and you can personalize it with your child's name.

Comments about Laugh & Learn Love to Play Puppy:

We got it for Christmas. TWO WEEKS LATER it just STOPPED WORKING. We changed the batteries, turned the on/off switch multiple times - no luck. The toy wasn't abused at all as you would expect from a toddler.
Before it broke our 15 months old seemed to enjoy it. Yes, it is a bit TOO SENSITIVE and rarely finishes a single song (because once you grab it you accidently keep touching hands, toes, etc..). As a result, it might NOT be THE BEST THING FROM THE EDUCATIONAL POINT OF VIEW (essentially, your toddler only learns the beginning of the ABC song). However, it was FUN to play with.

Comments about Laugh & Learn Love to Play Puppy:

My son received this is a Christmas gift at 4 months. The sensors are VERY sensitive and he could operate it by himself which was a very big deal for a little guy! It kept him entertained for several minutes which was fabulous to free me up to do something else! Just propped him up, and put the dog in his lap. Now at 1 year, he doesn't play with it nearly as much and the sensor in the ear is broken (carrying it around by the ear most likely killed it), though he still plays with it for a few minutes most days.

My 9 month old boy loves this puppy! Although, sometimes it turns off cause the on and off is on the bottom of the foot and very sensitive, and the voice is a little loud, but overall we love it. He smiles when he hears it and loves the red heart that lights up on it's chest. Fun songs too. I am a stay at home mom and this toy doesn't annoy me! Great toy!

This toy helps with ABC's, colors, body parts and even teaches them songs. My daughter is 20 months and knows her ABC's, can count to 20 on her own, recite nursery rhymes and sings countless songs! Thanks for the help 'Play Puppy"

My 17 month old daughter has had her puppy for about 8 months now. She adores it. She rocks and dances to her favorite tunes. We lost it yesterday at the grocery store. I will be purchasing another one today from this website. Thanks for carrying it!

this was a gift when my daughter was born. it is now a fixture in MY closet, where it has lived for almost two years. the concept is super cute but the voice is the most annoying voice ever heard. This toy used to go off in the middle of the night when it was in her room as an infant and i couldn't bear to give it to her. it scares me....

i got this for my daughter when she was 5 months. she quickly fell in love with it. it is the ONLY toy she has ever had that she could play with for 45 minutes and not get bored with. now she is 10 months and although she no longer plays with it for 45 minute stretches, she is walking now and she carries it with her wherever she goes. her face lights up when she sees it!

My son loves this puppy and will play with it constantly. Hearing the songs and little sounds and phrases repeatedly day after day has begun to make me go a little nuts, but my 7 month old can't live without it. My niece has one just like it and still plays with hers even though she's now a year old. Can't go wrong with this toy. You may even find yourself singing along!
