My son loved this phone. The only problem is the cord on the telephone handset was only three inches long. He couldn't put up to his head like a real phone. I cut off the handset and tied it to the long red pull rope and he was happy

Not bad, my son 11 months old, loves this toy. Yes the phone cord is short, but it's for safety. It would have been better if it wasn't attached. Either way, my son loves how he's able to dance to the songs, press the buttons, and I am happy with the fact that he can use this for learning how to count. He could get at least a year out of this.

Comments about Laugh & Learn Laugh & Learn Counting Friends Phone:

This is a pretty mediocre toy. My main problem with it is that the cord that attaches the phone to the base of the phone is TOO SHORT. It's only about 6 i nches. My 16 month old can't even hold it to his ear without having to have the whole phone unit dangle there stupidly.

Also, I can't stand the voice that talks. And when you flip the little rolodex cards, the words they use for the animals don't match what's written down. It says CAT on the card, and she says KITTY. How is that supposed to teach my kid how to spell?

I do like stepping on all the buttons, they make a cool sound, and my baby likes to push the buttons too. But everything has buttons and I didn't need to spend money on something that is only good for button pushing.

Save your money and get something else.
